CREATIVE IDEAS FOR KIDS Art is so exciting! First of all, it improves imagination and creativity. Secondly, it is works really well for nervous system and helps to calm down and concentrate. And also there's nothing cooler than make a DIY piece of art to decorate your home. Developing creativity with us is easy as 1,2,3! Today, we collected the best and the easiest kids creativity crafts and ideas for you – it's your turn to create now! The first collection of ideas is for little artists. If you ran out of inspiration, try to watch and repeat these cool drawings (maybe, you'll come up with something new and cool!). Augmented reality at it's best – try yourself and turn everyday objects into something amazing! Another cool way to express your creativity with unusual drawings is using pencil shavings as the details of your picture. Try to give your imagination a go with editing photographs...without a computer! Just print out the pictures that you want to upgrade and don't stop your creativity. Check out what we've turned those cats and dogs into! And the picture with a girl and a goat is definitely my favorite! You can make a memory wall using such pictures with some added details. It's way cooler than an ordinary boring photoalbum. Shadow theatre is a classic activity to spend time together. It also helps to develop creativity and imagination. The coolest thing about it is that you don't need practically anything to make it – only your hands that are always with you. Watch this video and earn how to show animals – a deer, a rabbit, a spider, a llama, a rooster, a dog, a goose. You can also make a theatre out of a cardboard box and cut out some characters to use in your play – we used dinosaurs. Whom are you going to use? Tell us in the comments about your ideas. There are more cool ideas waiting for you in this video – try and make you colored sand art, pompom rug, or designer shoes. Where Are the Creative Jobs?
Many of us want a job that is 'creative', but the reality of the jobs market can seriously challenge our hopes. Why are there not more creative positions? And when we think about what it would mean to be creative, we arrive at a dauntingly fixed range of jobs. We might be visually creative: and so identify that we want to be a painter, photographer, film-maker, designer or architect. We might be intellectually creative: and so want to be a novelist, journalist or academic. We might be musically creative: and so want to start a band. Or we might be sensorily creative: and so want to start a restaurant. The problem is that securing any of these jobs is – statistically speaking – almost impossible. We end up blocked, sure of what we want to be, yet also unable to break into our chosen field.” MORE SCHOOL OF LIFE Visit us in person at our London HQ: https://bit.ly/2HODsla Watch more films on WORK and CAPITALISM in our playlist: http://bit.ly/TSOLcapitalism You can submit translations and transcripts on all of our videos here: https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_panel?c=UC7IcJI8PUf5Z3zKxnZvTBog&tab=2 Find out how more here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6054623?hl=en-GB SOCIAL MEDIA Feel free to follow us at the links below: Download our App: https://www.theschooloflife.com/london/community/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theschooloflifelondon/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheSchoolOfLife Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theschooloflifelondon/ CREDITS Produced in collaboration with: Vale Productions https://www.valeproductions.co.uk/ Title animation produced in collaboration with: Vale Productions https://www.valeproductions.co.uk/

Creativity depends on the cooperation of two competing networks: one that generates spontaneous thoughts (the default mode network) and the executive control center of the brain that governs everything else. Our random, free-flowing thoughts that are worthy of further exploration pop into our consciousness when they're recruited by the executive control network. A Japanese Method to Develop Creativity in Kids
Japanese people are known for their intelligence, politeness, and wellness. Why is this nation so unique and different from the rest of the world? It seems we’ve found the answer – they have an incredibly cool education system and unique teaching methods! There is a unique method in Japanese schools for developing creativity in kids. We believe that the whole world needs to adopt it! It’s called “Nameless paints.” In this video, we'll tell you how it works. Watch till the end – there is a small but brilliant bonus for you. Other videos you might like: 15 Examples of Japanese Etiquette That Will Drive You Crazy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR-H7yr9Ceo& Why Japanese Are So Thin According to Science https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxsnYsA549Y& 8 Japanese Parenting Rules All Kids Need https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_gnpIs8qMo& TIMESTAMPS: “Nameless paints” 0:34 Manners before knowledge 2:58 The academic year starts on April 1st 3:33 Students clean their school themselves 4:18 School lunch is provided on a standardized menu 4:59 After-school workshops are very popular 5:32 Students learn Japanese calligraphy and poetry 6:15 Students have to wear school uniform 6:50 The school attendance rate is about 99.99% 7:23 A single test decides the students’ futures 7:55 College years are the best ’holidays’ in life 8:32 SUMMARY: - “Nameless paints” includes ten tubes that don’t have color names such as “yellow,” “blue,” or “green.” Instead, there are only spots of a particular color or colors on each tube. As you can see, the spots are also different sizes. - In Japanese schools, students don’t take any exams until they reach grade four (the age of 10). The goal for the first three years of school is not to judge the child’s knowledge, but to establish good manners and to develop their character. - While most schools in the world begin their academic year in September or October, in Japan, it is April that marks the start of the academic and business calendar. The first day of school often coincides with one of the most beautiful natural phenomena — the time of cherry blossom. - In Japanese schools, students have to clean the classrooms, cafeterias, and even toilets all by themselves. Most Japanese schools do not employ janitors or custodians. - All classmates eat in their classroom together with the teacher. This helps build positive teacher-student relationships. - To get into a good junior high school, most Japanese students enter a preparatory school or attend private after-school workshops. - Japanese calligraphy, or Shodo, involves dipping a bamboo brush in ink and using it to write hieroglyphs on rice paper. - While some schools have their attire, traditional Japanese school uniform consists of a military style for boys and a sailor outfit for girls. - At the end of high school, Japanese students have to take an exam that determines their future. A student can choose one college they would like to go to, and that college has a particular score requirement. - Having gone through ‘examination hell,’ Japanese students usually take a little break. In this country, college is often considered the best years of a person’s life. Sometimes, Japanese people call this period a ‘vacation’ before work. Creative life hacks for your house Do you need some inspiration? Then you must watch this video! Unique and easy crafting hacks and DIY ideas for the whole family that you can make in no time at all! Do you still keep your keys under a doormat? Don't do this anymore - save your keys and your apartment! Create fake poo! Trust me - no one will ever think that there can be a key hidden under it :) You will need some parchment paper and a glue gun. Pour some hot glue on the parchment paper in a shape of a poo. Paint it using brown nail polish. Now take an empty jar and glue the fake poo on its lid. Put your key inside the jar, cover it with a lid, and dig a jar in a ground next to your door so you can only see a poo. Well done! Did you break your favorite mug or plate? Don't worry and use our life hack instead. Take the pieces of a broken item and some colored glue (you may add some glitter to it). Glue the pieces together. Great job! Now it looks awesome and stylish! Are you tired of boring plain mugs? Decorate them easily! Mix some transparent liquid soap, acrylic paint of your choice and a few drops of glycerine in a glass. Mix the ingredients well using a drinking straw. Blow through the straw to make soap bubbles inside the glass. Now carefully decorate the mug with the colorful soap bubbles. Let it dry. Wow! The cups look wonderful with this unique handmade decoration :) Timestamps: 00:57 Hide your keys safely 01:41 Cool tile hacks 04:00 Life hacks for cups 07:57 Paper decor ideas 13:11 Cool Chinese hacks ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/5min.crafts/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/5.min.crafts/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/5m_crafts Subscribe to 5-Minute MAGIC: http://bit.ly/2ldditZ Subscribe to 5-Minute Crafts GIRLY: https://goo.gl/fWbJqz Subscribe 5-Minute Crafts KIDS: https://goo.gl/PEuLVt The Bright Side of Youtube: https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/

MAGIC CRAYON CRAFTS Did you know that crayon could be used not only for drawing but it has lots of other uses? You can make Lego-shaped chalks, decorate a t-shirt and choose any print you like, make super cute pendants and make awesome candles just in 5 minutes! Isn’t it cool? We prepared a lot of projects to boost your creativity and imagination! Besides, you can make inexpensive gifts for your friends! Let’s start from perfect candle projects we share! Candles are perfect décor items that could create a cozy atmosphere. Make a hand-shaped candle. Melt the paraffin and add color any crayons you like. Take a disposable glove and make a small hole on every finger and insert candle wick and fix with tape. Take a vase and place a glove into it upside down. It should hang inside. Pour paraffin inside and wait until it cools down. Remove the glove. Ready! Next candle idea is to reuse eggshells as candles. Place a candlewick inside the egg and pour paraffin mixed with crayons inside. Let cool and remove the eggshell. Another cool crayon idea is crayon stones. The idea is very simple-to color the stones. But we share a special technique on how to make them look like gemstones. Take several stones and “bake” them for 15 minutes. Then when they became hot put them out of the oven and start painting. We used white, blue and pink colors. Watch the full tutorial in our video! One more unexpected use of crayons is to make lip gloss. Yes, it’s a surprising but cool project that requires only coconut oil and crayons. Microwave the coconut oil and add crayon, stir and pour into empty balm container. Enjoy! You can make a lovely pendant of any color you want! Chop some crayons and pup into a metal setting. Place in into the oven to melt. And finally, cover with resin. You can create a whole jewelry collection! Dr. Joe Dispenza: Creativity and the Unknown (New Realities)
This video is just as relevant today as when originally filmed in 2015. #JoeDispenza Alan Steinfeld interviews his old friend Dr. Joe Dispenza, whose revolutionary work shows the power of the mind to manifest new realities. Joe's latest book is: You are the Placebo Effect: Making Your Mind Matter. Dr. Joe Dispenza is an international lecturer, researcher, corporate consultant, author, and educator who has been invited to speak in more than 33 countries on six continents. As a lecturer and educator, he is driven by the conviction that each of us has the potential for greatness and unlimited abilities. In his easy-to-understand, encouraging, and compassionate style, he has educated thousands of people, detailing how they can rewire their brains and recondition their bodies to make lasting changes. https://drjoedispenza.com/pages/about New Realities: making known the unknown For the last 20 years, Alan Steinfeld has traveled the globe looking for the most important contributions to the field of Consciousness. This what you find here on this website; powerful articles, videos, podcasts and events to nourish the mind, body, and soul - so we can awaken to new realities Our purpose is to make known the unknown…. This means: “We must accept our reality as vastly as we possibly can; everything, even the unprecedented, must be possible within it. This is, in the end, the only kind of courage that is required of us: the courage to face the strangest, most unusual, most inexplicable experiences that can meet us.” – Rainer Marie Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet, letter 8 #AlanSteinfeld has been involved with Disclosure since his experiences as a young child. From that time, he realized that the only way for humanity to accept the fact that we are not alone – is to shift our worldview about what we think is possible. In this way, he feels we must transcend the old limitations of our mind and tap into what is beyond mainstream psychology, beyond our education, our religions, and our political ideologies. He feels that Disclosure is “an inside job.” It is only when we wake up to who we really are as galactic beings that the cosmos will come to greet us in our magnificence. #NewRealities From this platform, he has interviewed every top researcher in the UFO field; forming close alliances to such people as John Mack, Budd Hopkins, Richard Dolan, and Linda Moulton Howe. He has also been one the main emcees at Contact in the Desert.
