Michele Clark High is teeming with pride, despite their community's high crime rate. With athletics being a way to keep kids off the streets, the staff wanted more than just a spare room and ancient equipment to boost the morale and brighten the future of the students. ► Donate to the Lift Life Foundation: https://bbcom.me/2Cu3MMa ► Nominate a School: http://bit.ly/2Cu3XqO ► Lift Life Foundation Website: https://www.liftlifefoundation.org/ ► Other Lift Life Foundation Projects: http://bit.ly/2tnT7Mh Nothing will break up a community faster than crime and violence. It undermines the economy, family life, public safety, and education. Understandably, many people leave the area in response, and ones who stay behind often feel trapped and despondent. Austin, a community within Chicago, Illinois, is one such neighborhood. Once one of the biggest areas in the city, Austin's population, economy, and communal feel have all steadily declined due to drugs and gang activity. In fact, Michele Clark is one of the few schools remaining in the area. With this in mind, the school has endeavored to provide kids with safe refuge among people who feel like family. Principal Charles Anderson is the driving force behind this effort, along with Athletic Director Kevin Simmons. Both act as more than just teachers in the lives of many of the students. The entire staff has created an environment that fosters growth, and athletics is a big part of that effort. However, with a dilapidated weight room, no physical growth would be happening any time soon. "I'm always looking for ways to encourage them, ways to excite them, ways to show them that they're number one at this school," Principal Anderson says. "For me, I wanted to build up the confidence of the students, make them proud of where they are and feel empowered to advocate for themselves. I also told them, 'I want you to be able to understand how to play hard and work hard.'" And what better way to show his students than with a brand-new gym? Lifted Up Michele Clark High's weight room looked about as put together as a spare storage shed, where people just happened to accumulate an assortment of outdated fitness equipment. Matching dumbbells were hard to come by. Many important pieces of equipment were missing, and what remained was barely functional. Lift Life was drawn to Michele Clark's submission, not only because of the dire condition of their gym, but because of the passion the coach and principal exuded for the kids. They treat them like their own children, making the best with what they have. This school needed a weight room that matched the immense amount of pride felt by the staff and students. It was like a second home for many, and their home deserved more than some old-school equipment straight out of the 80s, crammed into a 10-by-20 space. After a full year of tear-downs, designing, and assembling, the Lift Life team, along with its partner, Optimum Nutrition, created the gym equivalent of a king's castle, one that could very well rival those in many college strength-training facilities. When the day of the reveal finally came, it was as if the football team had already won the state championship. Gone were the days of makeshift exercises and taking turns on one squat rack. The entire school had something they could use with pride. "This is going to give them something that's theirs," Simmons said. "Nobody in the city has anything like this. Now you're unique. Now it's what you do with it. Are you going to let it sit dormant, or are you going to take advantage of it?" If giving young athletes a head start in life is as exciting for you as it is for us, you can donate to the Lift Life Foundation or nominate a school to be considered for a future renovation. | Support the Lift Life Foundation | ► Lift Life Snapback Hat: https://bbcom.me/2CvEblZ ► Lift Life Raglan 3/4 Tee: https://bbcom.me/2CvU8bV ============================================= | Follow Us | ► Twitch: http://bit.ly/2q1dttE ► YouTube: http://bit.ly/1RSJFa4 ► Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1lomhpr ► Instagram: http://bit.ly/1LzBxab ► Twitter: http://bit.ly/1RSJQlL ► Google+: http://bit.ly/1NRe8qu ► Pinterest: http://bit.ly/1OOZgY4 ► Spotify: http://spoti.fi/1NRebm0 We are Bodybuilding.com. 10 Most Insane Cruise Ships In The World ► Subscribe: https://goo.gl/vHN6qB For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Cruise ships are floating cities made with luxury in mind. These enormous ships ferry people around on sapphire waters all over the globe as they head to some of the most stunning locations on the planet. But not all cruise ships are created equal. In fact, some are truly magnificent and insanely decked floating cities. With that in mind check out these top 20 most insane cruise ships in the world. MSC Seaside Have you ever wanted to go to the sea and go for a swim, but not actually swim in the sea? While this may seem a little pointless on the surface, depending on where you live, going for a dip in a pool is a lot safer than doing so in the ocean. Majestic Princess Princess cruises are hyped to be the end-all-be-all experience. The people behind the wheel know boats, and they definitely know what they are doing when it comes to designing a new cruiser. The Majestic Princess hit the water in 2017, and has been sailing from coast to coast since. Harmony of the Seas With such a serene name, one might think that the Harmony of the Seas cruise is a peaceful ride. And to be honest, it can be if you stick to certain activities. But this ship is equipped to do one thing better than all the others, and that’s party! Carnival Vista Carnival Vista is clearly trying its hardest to pack a theme park, a carnival, and a small city’s worth of stuff onto one boat. Admittedly, this cruise is a rather large ship, so even after all of those additions there is still plenty of room for spacious suites and boy are those suites decked out. That’s not what got Carnival Vista on this list though, it’s the SkyRide. Oceania Cruises' Marina Now, hitting the open seas on a cruise doesn’t always mean you are going to party city. There are plenty of cruises around that are more laid back, relaxing experiences, like the Oceania Cruises Marina. But, you may be wondering, this list is all about insane cruise ships. The ones that are totally, over-the-top bonkers! How is a laid back cruise on this list? Chefs themselves. Asides gorging yourself on spectacular food, fresh pastries, and delicious coffee, you can kick back with various arts and crafts classes led by various artists. Silver Muse Certainly one of the most opulent and regal of the cruises on this list, the Silver Muse is a taste of the high life. SilverSea, the owners of the Silver Muse, are of Italian heritage, and this seeps into every corner of what his cruise has to offer. Anthem of the Seas A transformative experience awaits you on the Anthem of the Seas. If you’ve ever wanted to push yourself to try new things, make from friends, or have a great time with your friends, then this insane cruise is the one for you. Asides the usual stuff you find on luxury cruises, like over-the-top luxury, awesome places to eat and drink, and a fully services spa, this bad boy comes packed with lots stuff for thrill-seekers to tackle. Symphony of the Seas Who hates waiting in line? Everyone. Dawdling during a snail-pace check in process it not a pleasant way to start a holiday, but Royal Caribbean have perfected the terminal check-in process and it shines true with their newest cruise ship, the Symphony of the Seas. Not only did Royal Caribbean commission a whole new ship, but a whole new terminal and bay to go with it. Norwegian Bliss Now who could go wrong with a ship called the Norwegian Bliss? Outside of the usual commodities, like deliciously good food, spa amenities, and a plush room, this cruise ship has its very own Go Kart course. Yes, you heard that right. Carnival Horizon It is pretty clear that the fun never stops on Carnival Horizon. We honestly don’t know how one could bare to leave this cruise. Very much a family oriented experience, We hope you enjoyed this video. Which one of these ships would you book a cruise on? Let us know in the comments… We’d like to hear from you! Calling it “a social network with an address”, Los Angeles entrepreneur Elvina Beck created PodShare, a coliving experiment where dozens of “Podestrians”- travelers, mobile workers or new arrivals to the city- share a communal space filled with sleeping pods or “bunk beds for adults”. Beck, who built the first PodShare in 2012 with her father, wanted to respond to her demographic’s rejection of widespread home ownership and embrace of the sharing economy. She set out to transform the American bunk bed, creating a more open (and co-ed) version of the Japanese capsule hotels. For $40 to $50 per night (or discounted weekly and monthly prices), Podestrians can choose a bottom or top sleeping pod (equipped with a lamp and a small flatscreen television with Internet access) along with all the shared spaces, including a kitchen (with communal food, and space for individual storage in the pantry and fridge), bathroom, showers (toiletries included) and a communal lounge. Currently, there are 3 locations in Los Angeles, but Beck sees the model as scalable across the country and, similar to a gym, members could have overnight access at any location. PodShare doesn’t own any of the locations, but instead rents empty space from landlords. They stay away from residentially-zoned properties and instead focus on converting commercial or live/work spaces. Beck and her partner Kera Package have evolved the pods so they are now modular and totally mobile so they can go up and down at any location when a lease ends. In reflection of the sharing economy’s privilege of “access” over “ownership”, Beck tries to outfit each location with extras like bicycles and instruments. She hopes each location will eventually have bigger extras, like a gym or pool. Currently, the Hollywood location even has a recording studio and editing bay. Work is the best route out of poverty - it's a slogan popular with politicians both left and right for the past two decades. But as the country surges towards record numbers of people in work - the number of those in work and in poverty too is also rising. (Click to subscribe for more Channel 4 News videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel4news?sub_confirmation=1) According to the Institute for Fiscal Studies, 57 per cent of people in poverty live in households where at least one person has a job - up more than twenty per cent since 1995.

Music promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/nRRDmrJ8YTs ------- Join us as we travel from Singapore to Hong Kong in style and luxury in Singapore Airlines’ brand new Airbus A380 first class suite. We start at the exclusive first class check in area of Changi airport in Singapore and we’re bowled over by the professional and courteous nature of the staff who work seamlessly and efficiently to get us through check in and immigration control and in to the first class lounge in less than five minutes! Changi airport has been rated as the best airport in the world by Skytrax for seven consecutive years since 2013 and with the service we received, it’s not surprising to see why! We receive an exclusive invitation to the private room which is the flagship first class lounge of Singapore airlines. It is ultra exclusive and private with top class, restaurant style a la carte and buffet dining, large screen televisions and extremely comfortable seating. It even has a shower suite for first class passengers to freshen up before their flight! Come with us and see inside the magnificent Singapore airlines private room and all it has to offer – we also examine the exquisite food, and the service to go with it, provided in the private room. We’ve already been pampered and enjoyed significant luxury but what lies in store for us on board the Airbus A380 of Singapore Airlines is incredible! Our first class suite on board the aeroplane is very spacious and we are greeted with a choice of vintage champagnes – Krug 2004 or Dom Perignon Vintage 2009. The first class suite is so big and so private that you don’t even have to go to the bathroom to get changed in to your complimentary, soft pyjamas and slippers! We take an in depth look at the long haul amenity kits provided by Singapore airlines, which are handcrafted by Lalique in men’s women’s and unisex varieties. We see the great attention to detail that has been paid with perfumes, hand creams, moisturisers and lip balm all being provided as well as a precious Lalique glass ornament to keep and cherish. We also take a good look at the sophisticated food and drink served on board, brought directly to us at our own personal table within the first class cabin, expertly laid at our request by the stewardess. We are treated to a selection of exotic fruits as an appetiser, iced milo, lobster thermidor and for dessert, a scrumptious and expertly presented mont-blanc cake with ice cream. The first class cabin’s furnishings are no less impressive with movable lights, a seat which wouldn’t look out of place in Stat Trek, giving complete control over all of the cabin’s functions, including the blinds and a bed with proper mattress and super soft linen and padding. Overall, as we arrive in Hong Kong, we are well rested, well fed and ready for a lot more fun in Hong Kong, which is where I, Sam Chui, first developed my love of aviation and I discuss this with the cabin crew during the video. Stepping off the plane, we are greeted by the Silver Kris Lounge of Hong Kong international airport and in case you didn’t have enough to eat on your flight, you won’t be wanting with the fabulous choice of both western and Chinese food available including the famous Wonton noodle soup. So come with us from Singapore to Hong Kong on the A380 with Singapore airlines and enjoy all they have to offer – what, in your opinion, was the best part of the trip? Let us know in the comments and, as always, thanks for watching!

With a killer combination of affordability, utility and fuel economy, the juggernaut compact SUV class is partially responsible for marginalizing the classic family sedan. Perhaps the most recognized small SUVs in this class are the eternally feuding Honda CR-V and redesigned-for-2019 Toyota RAV4, which we tested in a multiday comparison along with five other 2019 models: the updated Hyundai Tucson, updated Jeep Cherokee, Nissan Rogue, redesigned Subaru Forester and defending champion of this test, the Volkswagen Tiguan. None of these are bad SUVs — even last place wasn't far behind most competitors, especially in the subjective categories we judge. Every SUV except for one topped the rest of the field in at least one category. Rather than look at just the winner, we recommend that you find the SUV that's excellent in a way that's important to you. This inspiring off-grid homesteading family lives in a renovated stone earthship. They grow their own food, collect rainwater, use solar power, have composting toilets, and they have a pond that filters their grey water. On top of living an eco friendly lifestyle, they dedicate their work to important projects like urban gardening and promoting industrial hemp as "Hempbassadors." To follow their exciting project, check them out on Facebook and Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/hempbassadors/ https://www.facebook.com/hempbassadors/ Off-Grid Living playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLslKBpzJILet38X4jewEbINeMM9MJCMXe Earthship playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLslKBpzJILeszhgpmnHfNQwoRgAcXYBXr During the winter, they typically take 2-4 months off to travel, which is financially possible for them because they don't have a mortgage (the house only cost $15,000 when they bought it). Their daughter, Emma, is in the first grade, but they take her out of school while they travel and homeschool her on the road. Francis & Marie have dreamt of being self-sufficient for a long time. For 8 years they renovated their earthship home, planted their permaculture gardens, and prepared for the day they'd be able to live their dream full-time. For over 2 years now they've been living on their dream homestead. They grow apples, berries, and other fruits which they preserve for winter. They also grow vegetables, and collect eggs from their chickens. In the summer, their grocery bill can be as low as $30/week because they produce so much of their own food. Much of their harvest is kept cool in their root cellar although they would like to have a fridge. The home is a passive solar home with a greenhouse in the front. It can stay above zero degrees on it's own, but they have a wood stove – an Amish Pioneer Princess – to heat the house, to cook, and to heat their hot water. For rainwater, they have 3 collection systems. One is a tank in front of the house that collects water from the greenhouse, and they use a solar powered pump to transfer it into an underground cistern. Another tank collects rainwater from the roof, and a third collects rainwater from their shed. In total they can have 10,000 litres of fresh water when all of the tanks are full. They don't have a well yet so they get their drinking water from a cabin they have access to down the road. They have a small solar power system for their lights, the water pump, and for the internet. They'd eventually like to invest in a bigger system but for now it works well. Thanks for watching! Congress wants President Donald Trump’s tax returns to see debts and foreign investments. But Trump says he cannot reveal his tax returns because they are under audit. Al Jazeera spoke with Kyron Huigens, Cardozo School of Law, who said, "Congress has an absolute right to these tax returns" and there is "no room for interpretation". Huigens added that Trump could be afraid of revealing "some financial assistance from Russia, not the government, but the oligarchs who are closely tied to the government" by releasing his tax returns. Trump gave a speech to a group of natural gas workers in Connecticut on Tuesday where he repeated his lies about windmills being giant death traps for birds, including bald eagles. He said that you can go underneath a windmill and see “piles” of dead bald eagles under them, which isn’t even close to being true. He made other ridiculous claims about the Green New Deal, and everyone in the audience cheered wildly for this madman. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this. Yesterday. Donald Trump met with a group of natural gas workers in Connecticut where he delivered a speech that really you just kind of have to see for yourself And now they talk about the Green New Deal. The Green New Deal. Everybody go home. You just lost your jobs. The Green New Deal is that's a hoax. Like the hoax I just went through, I'm not even sure it might be a bigger one and mine was pretty big. Mind was unlimited take, give it the green, new deal under that deal. I didn't have this, this is a down, but John Kennedy bill under that deal. Everybody in this room gets fired. All of the thousands of guys and women standing on these buildings get fired. They go home because under the Green New Deal, they don't like clean, beautiful natural gas. They don't like anything. They don't know what they like. They sorta like wind. Even though it kills all the birds. You want to see a bird cemetery go under a windmill. Sometime you'll see the sadness. You got every type of bird. You know in California you go to jail for five years. If you kill a Bald Eagle, you go under a windmill. You see 'em all over the place. Not a good situation, but that's what they were counting on wind. I, when the wind doesn't blow, you don't watch television that night. Your wife said, what the hell did you get me into with this Green New Deal, Charlie? Okay, so let's get this straight. Windmills are essentially birds, cemeteries. Um, although in that particular clip there, he did not make clear whether or not it's because the birds are running into the windmills or if it's actually the windmill cancer that he's warned us about. Maybe it's infecting the birds like super quick and they just dropped dead right at the foot of the windmill. We don't know. But all we know according to the president is that those windmills, man, they're just up there in the sky shredding birds left and right, including our beautiful bald eagles here in the United States, the emblem of this country. That's not true whatsoever. Of course, wind mills not only do not cause cancer, uh, they don't kill more birds. In fact, they actually kill fewer birds than buildings. Say like the ones that Donald Trump himself, phones, birds understand that you have to move out of the way of that thing. They, they can see it, right? Not like a glass window on a building that they can't tell is their windmills do not kill birds at any kind of alarming rate. They simply fly around them. They're not like giant oscillating fans up there spinning at 200 miles an hour. They move relatively slowly. Birds in fact do land on them plenty of times. That's how gentle they are. But nonetheless, moron is out there telling us that the birds are just dying left and right. There's piles of them. I guess they got a guy that comes out everyday with a shovel to just get them all out of there. I don't know where the giant bird cemetery is at that point, but what I do know is that, uh, this man is just lying through his teeth to these natural gas workers who apparently ate it up. I, you saw their reactions there. #rof #trofire #theringoffire #progressivenews

The top 5 worst cheap hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Thinking of booking a cheap hotel in Las Vegas? You might want to reconsider if it's one of these hotels! Las Vegas has some amazing luxury hotels, and then it is also some really really awful hotels. Based on tripadvisor rankings, I walk through the five worst cheap hotels on the strip. 5. Excalibur Hotel: $27/night 3.5 Stars with 3,588 Reviews The Excalibur is big and soulless. The problems are with the size of the hotel, its a giant over 4500 rooms, many rooms have awful views in to the depressing courtyard. Long check-in lines… often waits of 45 minutes The whole hotel has a musty/smoky smell, that you don't get in other Las Vegas Strip hotels. 4. Hooters Hotel $28/night 3 Stars with 3,646 Reviews The Hooters hotel is very dated. Looks like it hasn't been kept up since it was built. They could at least do better with cleaning with a facility this run down. It was slightly better than a Motel 6. Starting Advertised room price of $36 become almost $60 at booking checkout the to additional $27 per night as resort fee. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The only glimmer of hope was the food and the hospitality staff inside of the Hooters restaurant. 3. Travel Lodge Center Strip $67 / night 3 stars with 1,079 Reviews If you're interested in a location in the heart of Las Vegas: this is perfect. If you care about feeling safe, clean room and nice surroundings: the don't stay at the Travel Lodge Las Vegas Center Strip. The windows looked like someone had try to pry them open in the past. I did not feel safe in this hotel. The corners of the hotel inner courtyard were used as urinals by pedestrians of the strip crossing the hotel entrance. 2. Travel Lodge Las Vegas $37 / night 3 Stars with 537 Reviews The Travel Lodge Las Vegas hotel has a good location right next to the Circus Circus hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. However, it has nothing else. You get what you pay for so don't be expecting much. The outside stairs coming from downstairs to the second floor smelled like human urine. 1. Circus Circus Manor Motor Lodge $19.80 / night 2.5 Stars with 295 Reviews Located in the back of the Circus Circus hotel, the Circus Circus manor rooms are extremely old and run down. The place is filthy , the carpet is disgusting . The windows on the doors are dirty filthy. The wallpaper in the halls is peeling off and looks nasty. A step above a homeless shelter. Entire hotel has a wet smell to it. The familiar styling of the Nissan X-Trail means it's easy to mistake even after a facelift in 2017, but the third generation of Nissan's flagship family model has plenty to offer in the large SUV class. First and foremost, it's a practical SUV, with very good passenger room and the option of seven seats, although these aren't the roomiest rear seats. The X-Trail's cabin is similar to the Qashqai's, but that's not a bad thing. Not only is it smartly designed and well made, it's also packed with equipment. The X-Trail isn't thrilling to drive by any means, and the latest crop of rivals, such as the Skoda Kodiaq and Mazda CX-5, probably have a better balance between agility and ride quality. However, the Nissan remains generally comfortable and composed at cruising speeds. The X-Trail’s safety levels are excellent thanks to a platform that supports some of the most advanced passive and active systems around, as well as the latest semi-autonomous technology. Fuel economy is decent, too. As the X-Trail is essentially an enlarged Qashqai, it falls somewhere between the compact SUV and large SUV classes, and in seven-seat guise it's not the roomiest people carrier in the class. Cars such as the Skoda Kodiaq, Peugeot 5008, VW Tiguan Allspace, Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe all have bigger seven-seat cabins, as does the SEAT Tarraco. Elsewhere, large five-seat SUVs such as the Ford Edge, Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are worth considering if you don't need a third row of seats but need a bigger boot. One defining feature of the X-Trail over the Qashqai is the fact it's only offered in higher spec levels when compared to its sibling. That means all models are well equipped, with only N-Connecta and Tekna trims offered. So you get dual-zone climate control, auto lights and wipers, a power tailgate, all-round parking sensors and 360-degree cameras, 18-inch wheels, sat-nav and a panoramic glass roof all as standard. Tekna cars add leather, 19-inch wheels a Bose stereo, electric driver's seat, LED headlights and Nissan's Safety Shield system. Prices start from around £32,600, topping out at around £35,600. So, everybody knows that the Great Depression started with the stock market crash in 1929, right? Not exactly. The Depression happened after the stock market crash, but wasn't caused by the crash. John will teach you about how the depression started, what Herbert Hoover tried to do to fix it, and why those efforts failed. A decade after the financial crisis, the chiefs of the largest U.S. banks faced a grilling from lawmakers on everything from income inequality to their ties to politically controversial industries. The spectacle -- meant to send a message that the Democratic-controlled House is ratcheting up oversight of the industry -- was enough to bring Lloyd Blankfein, who stepped down as chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. last year, off the sidelines. “Boy, I really miss my old job!!!,” he wrote on Twitter. With lawmakers on the Financial Services Committee each getting five minutes to speak, the seven bank executives were consistently cut off while trying to answer a barrage of quick and often unconnected questions. Topics spanned the political and banking spectrum, as ranking member Patrick McHenry called the gathering “a hearing in search of a headline.” The roughly six hours of testimony touched on the financial crisis, probes, capital rules, wages, interest rates, the economy, the Federal Reserve, China, climate change, gender equality, diversity, cybersecurity and cryptocurrencies, as well as how banks serve rural areas, small businesses, millennials, immigrants in the DACA program, gunmakers, prisons, fossil-fuel companies, car buyers, home buyers and people living in Guam. Among the more dramatic moments, Texas Democrat Al Green asked the lineup of white, male CEOs whether any thought their successor is “likely” to be a woman or member of a minority group. As five raised their hands, JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon shook his head, unfolded his arms and looked over at Morgan Stanley’s James Gorman, the only other executive who kept his arm down. Green moved on to a question about banks and slavery before the CEOs could elaborate on their gestures. All of them committed to turning over diversity plans to the panel, with Gorman saying he’s focused on creating a sense of “belonging” at his firm. The CEOs also took turns fielding questions about appointments President Donald Trump has said he’ll make to the Fed board. Most of the executives said it’s important the Fed remain politically independent. Dimon noted he has enormous faith in Fed Chairman Jay Powell, but said some beliefs expressed by Heritage Foundation economist Stephen Moore would give him pause. There were also a few announcements: Dimon said JPMorgan would consider developing a firm policy on dealing with gun manufacturers and supporting reform to overdraft fees. State Street Corp. CEO Ron O’Hanley called cyber risk a “clear and present danger” that requires banks and regulators to cooperate. Yet by the end, the proceedings hadn’t resulted in any meaningful calls for new legislation, or pledges by bank leaders to make dramatic changes. The executives said they will clarify their stances on dealing with industries like firearms manufacturers and coal miners, and said they will fine-tune policies that currently require customers to settle disputes through arbitration instead of taking them to court. Shares of all seven companies represented at the hearing climbed, adding about $6 billion to their total market value. It was a move similar to when Blankfein famously faced a Senate hearing nine years ago, watching his company gain $549 million as lawmakers took turns lashing its business. If lawmakers sought to bring the leader of a major bank down a notch, their decision to host seven at once made it harder. Because of scheduling conflicts, Wells Fargo & Co. sent then-CEO Tim Sloan to field questions by himself at a hearing before the same committee last month, where he endured more than four hours of questions about his efforts to fix consumer abuses. Sloan abruptly resigned days later, saying he didn’t want his leadership to be a distraction for the company. On Wednesday, lawmakers repeatedly bemoaned the difficulty of digging into weighty industry issues in the time allotted. At one point, Wisconsin Republican Sean Duffy asked if he could have 10 seconds back after the committee’s chair, Maxine Waters, interjected to ask Bank of America Corp.’s Brian Moynihan to speak louder. Many questions were aimed at Dimon, who runs the nation’s largest bank and was first to enter the room. Waters opened the session by addressing a running joke in Washington that other CEOs might skate through by letting him do all the talking. Everyone would needs to speak for himself, she said, quipping, “We know he’s smart.” Katie Porter, a freshman Democrat from California and former consumer-protection lawyer, pressed Dimon on behalf of a mother working in a Chase branch and struggling to make ends meet. But the exchange was interrupted when Porter was barred from holding up a small whiteboard to lay out the family’s finances. Dimon said he would be happy to give some advice to the employee. Please Help Me To 1,000,000 Sub : American Patriot : https://bit.ly/2yOF8Xi SUB TO BACKUP CHANNEL HERE : https://bit.ly/2DuahBo President Trump Destroys Green New Deal Compares It To This Dean James at Right Wing Tribune POTUS Trump slammed the Green New Deal and called it a “hoax” at a rally in Louisiana at the Cameron LNG Export Facility which is the site of a new liquefied natural gas export terminal. The terminal will employ roughly 7,000 workers and export up to 15 million tons of LNG annually, enough to cover a quarter of the European Union’s LNG demand in 2018.“The Green New Deal is a hoax, like the hoax I just went through. I’m not even sure, it might be a bigger one, and mine was pretty big,” Trump said, comparing Ocasio-Cortez’s resolution to the Russian collusion conspiracy busted by special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. “Under that deal, everyone in this room gets fired. All of the thousands of guys and women standing on these [stages] gets fired, they go home. Because under the Green New Deal, they don’t like clean, beautiful natural gas,” Trump continued. “They don’t like anything. They don’t know what they like. They sort of like wind even though it kills all the birds.” Trump also touted successes of his “America First” energy policy, such as approving the Keystone XL oil pipeline even though the pipeline’s actual construction has been stopped by environmentalists through lawsuits. The president spoke about recent jobs numbers released by the Department of Labor and the rate of the economy’s growth in the first quarter of 2019, which took experts by surprise. The U.S. economy added 263,000 jobs in April and the unemployment rate fell to 3.6 percent. The Department of Commerce estimated in April that the U.S. economy will grow at a rate of 3.2 percent over the course of 2019, much higher than experts’ predictions of 2.3 percent in January. No matter how dems try to spin it, Trump is kicking ass. Join us at SPREELY if you want to try social media without the leftist censorship! God Bless. Li “Cindy” Yang, the woman who founded the massage parlors that were recently busted for providing “extra” services to male clients, is now under investigation by the FBI for her efforts to sell access to prominent Republicans, including Trump himself. Yang is close with many high profile Republicans, and she even watched the Super Bowl this year sitting right next to Donald Trump. Her antics have created serious security issues at Mar-a-Lago, and its about time the FBI decided to dig deeper into this. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains what’s happening. The woman who founded the massage parlors that recently got busted for offering male clients, um, extra services, I guess you would call it a, although she doesn't own them anymore. She didn't own them when that happened, but she is the one who founded them. Woman by the name of Lee Cindy Yang here in the state of Florida is now under FBI investigation. But this investigation is actually not related to her connection with those, uh, massage parlors, which also happened to be the one where Robert Kraft was busted at. Now she's being investigated for potentially illegal contributions to Donald Trump's campaign's. She's also already under investigation for a potentially selling access to Donald Trump and other prominent conservatives here in the state of Florida, uh, to Chinese nationals. We also know that the woman who recently infiltrated Mar a Lago attempting to install spyware was drawn there to Mar a Lago by Cindy Yang. So Cindy Yang is in a lot of trouble right now. Two different FBI investigations, but this most recent one only centers around her donations to Donald Trump's campaign, his packs, his reelection, whatever it is, the FBI's pretty positive that this woman has given way more money than she was legally allowed to do. Now, let's be clear, this does not implicate Donald Trump in anything. If this woman was giving extra money or illegal money, that's not his problem. That's her problem. But really isn't it his problem though, isn't it? The problem of every other conservative who's been photographed with this woman? I mean, she took a Selfie of herself and Donald Trump watching the Superbowl together just this year. She has pictures of herself with Matt Gaetz, our new governor, Ron DeSantis, our new idiotic senator, Rick Scott. This woman knows pretty much every prominent Republican politician that comes through the great state of Florida, but it's only the contributions to Trump, right? That's the only time she was doing something questionable according to what we know about this investigation. She also had one of her friends give a donation to Donald Trump's campaigns and the uh, to the tune of $5,400 and she physically went over to the woman's house and actually physically helped her write the check. So the FBI wants to know is there some kind of money laundering going here? Is this some kind of illegal campaign contributions scheme one the hell is Cindy Yang actually doing down here in the state of Florida. And I think that's a question that a lot of us want answered, not just in the state of Florida could probably all over the country. This woman is connected again to every prominent Republican politician that this state has to offer. And apparently that DC has to offer in the form of Donald Trump. And of course his family, she's been selling access to Maro Lago. The fact that it's taken so long for these investigations to really get off the ground, that's also troublesome. I mean the FBI should have been looking into this a long time ago, especially when they found out that she was the one who founded the massage parlors that they had been investigating forever. Don't you think it had been worthwhile to maybe just kind of look into what else she had going on? I mean, there are already investigating the other massage parlors that she does own because they believe that there's some illegal prostitution happening there as well. #rof #trofire #theringoffire #progressivenews

This is how thousands of Vancouver crack shacks became worth at least $1 million dollars or more... This is the history of the Vancouver real estate market and how insane things happened here. Take a look how affordable an old Vancouver house has now become? Pardon the sarcasm... Vancouver and Detroit had one strange thing in common over the past few years: each city had thousands of empty homes. In Detroit these homes were worth nothing, but in Vancouver, they were worth at the very least 1 million dollar and up. The crazy real estate speculation in Vancouver let to the online game “Crack Shack or Mansion” as it was impossible to tell the difference just looking from the street. Google that if you don't believe me. People from all over the world, celebrities, immigrants, gangsters, and tons of regular folks, were scrambling to get a taste of the never ending boom of the Vancouver real estate market. And how did a 60 year old tear down house suddenly become worth $1.6 million dollars or more? Let me tell you the story... Vancouver was always a place were Canadians who didn't like the cold winters wanted to live, so, like most large cities, it always commanded a premium on cost of living. Vancouver was and still is, the San Francisco of Canada, but several major events in the past 30 years pushed lots of money into the local economy. It all started with the 1986 World Expo that really put Vancouver on the map and suddenly the outside world knew about us. With the exception of a recession in the early 90s, Vancouver home prices grew at a steady but manageable pace. Back then, a family of two could afford a home on a ratio of income to home prices of 1 to 6 or 1 to 8 depending on where and when you purchased a home. And then the foreign money came when Britain handed over Hong Kong. Many affluent citizens of Hong Kong were afraid of what might happen after the Communist take over and many left, at least temporarily. Canada had many programs that the wealthy could purchase their way into the country with cash. And so they came, and they came to Vancouver because it was close and it had many long established Asian cultures already embedded within it's social fabric. And the boom began. Year over year increases of real estate values were routinely 5-10%, and did not stop. It did not stop for 9/11, it did not stop for the American recession of 2008. It only continued. And then this happened to make things even more expensive... The 2010 Vancouver Olympics only made Vancouver a greater target on the world stage for more speculation, not only for locals citizens, but from people all over the world. Organized crime, fake immigrants, students, speculators and anyone who could scrape up a down payment was gaming the market for a guaranteed profit. People stood in lines at pre-sales of condominiums that had not even had a shovel placed into the ground just to flip the contracts of the right to purchase, and pocketed tens of thousands or dollars tax free on each transaction. Meanwhile, absentee owners from China and other countries were leaving thousands of their mansions to rot in Vancouver as they gamed the Canadian immigration system to pretend they were living in Canada but were actually secretly living in Asia or elsewhere. Gangsters would complete real estate deals the Canadian way, with hockey bags stuffed with cash. In the process, cleaning their ill gotten money due to Canada's weak ability to track proceeds of crime. The sophisticated organized crime members even created elaborate shell corporations to hold their vast real estate empires. After all, it only took a Canadian attorney less than an hour to set this up and they were happy to receive the business. Even the small local gangsters merely used straw buyers to hold their property investments. The result: billions of dollars poured into the local economy. Even the Canadian casinos were used to clean up some of this dirty cash to help buy real estate. Gangsters called it the “Vancouver Manoeuvre” Soon, an old 60 year old house was worth 1 million dollars, and rising. And the investors were happy. And then after the politicians themselves also got rich with their land appreciation, they decided to wake up. Suddenly there were few workers available who could afford to live in Vancouver for the low paid service industry jobs in restaurants and coffee shops. Soon the next generation could not afford to live in these neighbourhoods. And soon Canadians discovered that most of the 3 million dollar homes in Vancouver were owned by numbered corporations, absentee foreign landlords, and foreign students and homemakers who declared a $20,000 income to the tax department. The madness was insane. What is the future of the Vancouver real estate market and prices? Post your comment below. And keep your wheels on the ground!
