Narcissists Have Fun Keeping Their Options Open

10:45
There are some cluster B personality types such as; narcissists, who like to keep their options open, while expecting you to wait for them to change. At best, the romantic relationship with some cluster B personality types are dysfunctional. The freak show of a never-ending cycle of idealization, devaluation and discard are sure to be the theme of the entire relationship with him or her. There is the possibility of an attempt to obtain a successful hoover. Regardless, this freak show that some cluster B personality types often perform, never seems to end. Cluster B personality types often desire a successful hoover, due to his or her addiction to obtain narcissistic supply from others, without ever running out of supply. All he or she needs is the cooperation of others who think that they need them for something in order to be happy in life. Wasting time and energy giving mental focus to what he or she is doing and why can backfire. Never mind it. This choice can prove to be a game changer. By using your support base to express what you have experienced, could help to provide you some emotional support in order to continue to thrive forward. I talk to some of the street people who say the biggest struggles comes during the Christmas season, because family spend time with each other. It can get so lonely at times especially around 2 or 4 am, because at that time there is no one around. And sometimes they start to cry! One year Sylvia and I slept with the street people just to be with them, even if it was just for one night. At first they were shocked, then they were happy. This year like all the other year we want to give them gifts of gloves, scarves, winter hats, socks. I know when these items gets wet or dirty, they are not as warm. I want to give them a new one of gloves, scarves, and winter hats, as well as other stuff that they may need. It's not like it use to be where I would only see single guys out on the streets. I see single parents with kids, seniors and people that lost their job and can't afford rent anymore. I give throughout the year until the warm weather starts in April. If you want to be a part of this through donations of gloves, scarves, winter hats, as well as other things like socks, etc. Let me know! When it comes to dating, I'm keeping my options open

07:16
At one point in my life, I remember feeling bad about talking to more than one person at a time, so I’d rush into relationships or try to get boo’d up fast to avoid that feeling. There's a certain stigma attached to women that do that, even if they’re not sleeping with everyone they’re talking to - you hear them being labelled as whores, sluts, hoes, etc. And there was a time that I cared about being dubbed a hoe. Especially being of Caribbean descent, you always hear about just having "one mon to mi pumpum" and other sayings that are supposed to make you put up yuh hand inna dance and walk out. Rayyyy! Merp. Those days are behind me. IDGAF. I do what I want and I don't care what anyone has to say about it. I'm honest and upfront about it, and anyone catching feelings, well that's on them. There's a difference between talking to someone and being in a relationship with them, and I'm a single girl that's keeping her options open. Well, until I’m given a reason not to. Tune into tonight's episode of unattached and unbothered to find out why I think talking to multiple people at the same time is actually a good thing and why you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to dating. College Admissions Counselor on Keeping Your Options Open

04:16
Mark Montgomery, college admissions counselor and educational consultant, advises students to keep their options open when they enter college: don't major in too narrow of a field until you've acquired a more foundational understanding of what you're interested in. If you seek guidance in the college admissions process and need help selecting the right college for you, contact Mark Montgomery at http://greatcollegeadvice.com, or call 720.279.7577. His team of experts in college admission, student advising, career counseling, and college counseling can help you with your college applications, your college essays, and with financial aid. Montgomery Educational Consultants offers personalized educational counseling to students and their families as they navigate the complex process of selecting and applying to colleges and universities. While we are based in Denver, Colorado, and Westfield, New Jersey, our reach isn’t just in these local areas. We serve students nationally and internationally, too. In fact, fully 25% of our clients come from beyond these two states in the U.S., and another 25% have come from China, Singapore, Taiwan, India, France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Mexico, Belarus, Canada, Romania, and Oman. No matter where you are located, Montgomery Educational Consulting can assist you in your college and university planning. TRANSCRIPT: A lot of students ask me about their major and what major they should consider. And I find a lot with my more science-oriented students that they are very interested in things like biomedical engineering. It's so hot right now. Everybody wants to do biomedical engineering. It was interesting, today, here at Georgia Tech, where I'm taking a tour, my tour guide was a second-year student and she came in as a biomedical engineering student. She loved the idea of working on prosthetics or some sort of -- using technology in the medical field to help repair or advance healing. So I asked her, "Why did you switch? Why did you switch from biomedical engineering into mechanical engineering?" And she told me, "Look, I'm interested in prosthetics but a lot of what prosthetics is is mechanical. So I found that as I was looking at what I wanted to do, that I felt that having a strong foundation in mechanical engineering," which is really a specialty here at Georgia Tech anyway, "that that would give me a strong foundation for no matter what it is I ended up doing. So yes, I probably would still like to work in the biomedical engineering field, and a strong foundation in mechanical engineering will enable me to do that because so much of what the prosthetic field is doing is pretty mechanical." But she said, "If I wanted to work on cars, or I wanted to work on some other thing," she said, "I didn't want to limit my opportunities." And by choosing a much more narrow field like biomedical engineering, absolutely, it's hot, it's what there seems to be a lot of things going on, but you miss out on that foundational education that can launch you into many new directions, some of which you may not have thought of, or that may be hotter in the future. Right now, biotech is huge. Bioengineering, biomedical engineering. It's huge. It's really, really, popular. But if you want to be employable in this next century, I think it's a really good idea to think about that foundation of your education as an undergraduate. If you plan to go on into graduate school, or if you want to work in a particular field that carries you into a new professional track, absolutely, biomedical engineering can be really cool, but the question you have to ask yourself is how soon do you want to narrow yourself? At 18, do you want to make that decision? Or do you want to wait and do some exploration? If you want to explore and you're not absolutely sure, then a place like Georgia Tech actually could be fantastic because you don't apply to your particular major, you apply to the school as a whole, then you begin to do some of your foundational requirements, and then you can make some decisions about whether or not you want that more narrow focus, like biomedical engineering, or whether you want to do something a little bit more general and have a stronger foundation in something like mechanical engineering. So a big choice to make, but one that you shouldn't make lightly. Especially when you're coming out of high school, I mean how many biomedical engineering courses have you taken? Frankly, how many engineering courses have you taken? Probably very few. So think about that, before you narrow your choices. How much do you want and need to explore your academic possibilities, your professional possibilities before you choose a very narrow major? Interesting food for thought, and it was really fun to hear somebody who had that choice to make, rather then somebody like me, to explain this difference in trajectory.

2012: KEEPING ALL OPTIONS OPEN

20:22
We all have preconceived ideas of what is true and what is real about the world we live in...me too. It seems to me that my situation is symbolic of a much bigger picture of what is happening on this planet. The old world and the new age are in confrontation mode. We may not like that, I certainly don't. It is not a comfortable place in which to be. The confrontation, to the more astute individual, is not only taking place in the world, it is happening within us. My guidance is telling me to keep all options open.

Dolphins owner says he was keeping options open on anthem

04:21
Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said he hadn't decided whether to actually discipline players who protest during the national anthem when he formally told the team that the demonstrations could be punishable. "We were asked to submit a form to the NFL on our overall discipline policy prior to the start of the rookie report date," Ross said in a statement Friday, explaining why a one-sentence reference to "Proper Anthem Conduct" was included in the team's official discipline policy. "The one line sentence related to the national anthem was a placeholder as we haven't made a decision on what we would do, if anything, at that point." President Donald Trump, a frequent critic of protesting players, said Friday that players should be suspended for a game for kneeling once, then suspended for the season with no pay if they kneel a second time. "Isn't it in contract that players must stand at attention, hand on heart? The $40,000,000 Commissioner must now make a stand," Trump tweeted, referring to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Miami's policy was obtained Thursday by The Associated Press and listed anthem conduct under behavior that could be found "detrimental to the club." It was the final bullet point on Miami's list. The list contains a wide range of potential violations, including criminal acts, breaking curfew, using or possessing drugs, riding a motorcycle, visiting public places declared off-limits by the club and inappropriate use of tablets and mobile devices. It also says players can be punished for criticizing teammates, officials or NFL executives. All of the violations carry potential penalties of suspension with or without pay, or fines. The maximum penalty — rarely given by clubs themselves — is a four-game suspension and a fine of another week of pay. A person familiar with league protocol told The Associated Press on Friday that NFL teams were not required to create any anthem policies when they submitted their annual discipline notices to the league and players. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because details of anthem discussions between the league and players union are private. The NFL and NFL Players Association said in a joint statement Thursday night that they planned to pause enforcement on league anthem rules while working out a resolution acceptable to players, team owners and the league. Officials for the league and union declined comment on Friday on how they would chart a path forward with the first preseason game less than two weeks away. Discord over how players should protest social injustice has put the sport at a difficult crossroads, revealing deep divisions in football itself much like those throughout the United States. In 2016, then-49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick began protesting police brutality, social injustice and racial inequality by kneeling during "The Star-Spangled Banner" and the demonstration spread to other players and teams. It became one of the most controversial and sensitive issues in sports. Trump has led the critics, calling players unpatriotic and even saying NFL owners should fire any player who refused to stand during the anthem. Some players countered that their actions were being misconstrued and that they are seeking social change rather than protesting the anthem itself, the flag or the military. Trump's criticism led more than 200 players to protest during one weekend, and some kept it up throughout the season. The NFL rule that was passed in May forbids players from sitting or taking a knee if they are on the field or sidelines during the national anthem, but allowed them to stay in the locker room if they wish. The league left it up to teams on how to punish players. The new league rules were challenged this month in a grievance by the players union. The league and a coalition of players have been working in tandem to support player initiatives for a variety of social issues. The NFL is committing $90 million over the next seven years to social justice causes in a three-segment plan that involves league players. Kaepernick didn't play at all last season and still hasn't been picked up by another team. He threw 16 touchdown passes and four interceptions in his final season in 2016. Safety Eric Reid, one of Kaepernick's former teammates and another protest leader, is also out of work. Both have pending collusion grievances against the NFL. Reid left The Players Coalition in November because he said founder Malcolm Jenkins excluded Kaepernick from meetings and asked players if they would stop protesting the anthem if the NFL made a charitable donation to causes they support. Jenkins maintained that despite some disagreements, they were fighting for the same cause: changing systematic oppression.

Song titles for those keeping their options open!

Song titles altered for if, for somebody, there is no ‘special someone’ – but that somebody is finding more than one person ‘special’! Some titles aren’t gender-specific, others mention males, one mentions females (no ‘discrimination’ here haha!)! Music in the video – part of the instrumental backing of a song (that I wrote, demoed by a company) – the song can be heard at https://youtu.be/52qvv8MNoMQ Images/clips in the video were allowed to be freely used, from pixabay Characters put in the thumbnail, were found at https://pixabay.com/en/users/DeeDee51-128913/
