You can create this dual-boot system from pretty much any version of Windows I am going to show you how easy it is to dual boot both these operating systems, you will get a menu where you can choose to boot into Windows 7 or Windows 10. How to Dual Boot Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 [2019]

08:54
Dual boot means you can have more than one operating system in one system and you can choose which OS you want to use at the boot time. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to install Ubuntu 18.04 alongside Windows 10 in dual boot. This way you'll get to use both Ubuntu Linux and Windows on the same system. In my opinion, dual booting Ubuntu with Windows is the best way to enjoy both the operating system on the true hardware which is not possible if you use either of Windows or Ubuntu Linux on a virtual machine. Newer computers and newer Ubuntu versions support secure UEFI boot so you don't have to disable fast boot or secure boot anymore. Installing Ubuntu and Windows in the same system has become a lot easier and hassle free. However, I recommend making a backup of your data on an external hard disk, keep a Windows 10 bootable USB or a Grub repair disk with you to avoid any unfortunate events while dealing with partitions and boot settings. Installing Linux & Windows in Dual Boot: CORRECT PARTITION SCHEME & BOOT LOADER SETUP

16:12
In this video, I will cover two important steps of Installing Linux alongside your windows OS. 1) Choosing the correct Partition scheme 2) Setting up your Windows Boot loader to boot to Linux instead of Linux bootloader (e.g : GRUB) During a standard Linux installation, a user do not have to worry about this. But when you are trying to install Linux in separate partition, keeping your current OS, it gets little trickier. If you do not configure these two options correctly, you might end up corrupting your bootloader or previous OS installation. I will also show how you can add your Linux os option to the Windows 8 bootloader using BCDedit. This is important so that in case in future if you decide to get rid of Linux OS, your computer boots normally without any issues.

How To Change Boot Order In Computer BIOS [For Beginners]

02:54
This tutorial demonstrates how to launch the built-in BIOS utility to change the boot order of your devices on your computer. If you are looking to set the primary boot device to a usb flash drive/stick or CD/DVD follow these steps. If you ever want to change these settings back, you can do so following the keyboard shortcuts located in the BIOS. Remember to always save your changes before closing out of the utility. To boot from a CD, DVD or USB device, make sure that the device has boot sequence priority over the hard drive. BIOS (Basic Input Output Subsystem) is a programmable chip that controls how information is passed to various devices in the computer system. A typical method to access the BIOS settings screen is to press ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F10 during the boot sequence. BIOS settings allow you to run a boot sequence from a floppy drive, a hard drive, a CD-ROM drive or an external device. You may configure the order that your computer searches these physical devices for the boot sequence. The first device in the order list has the first boot priority. For example, to boot from a CD-ROM drive instead of a hard drive, place the CD-ROM drive ahead of the hard drive in priority. Before you set boot priority for a USB device, plug the device into a USB port. To specify the boot sequence: 1. Start the computer and press ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F10 during the initial startup screen. Depending on the BIOS manufacturer, a menu may appear. 2. Choose to enter BIOS setup. The BIOS setup utility page appears. 3. Use the arrow keys to select the BOOT tab. System devices appear in order of priority. 4. To give a CD or DVD drive boot sequence priority over the hard drive, move it to the first position in the list. 5. To give a USB device boot sequence priority over the hard drive, do the following: Move the hard drive device to the top of the boot sequence list. Expand the hard drive device to display all hard drives. Move the USB device to the top of the list of hard drives. Save and exit the BIOS setup utility. 6. The computer will restart with the changed settings. 7. Boot Priority Options Some computer manufacturers allow you to select the device that contains the boot sequence from a special device selection menu. The example below uses a Dell system board. To set boot priority using a device selection menu: 1.When the computer starts to boot up, after the manufacturer's ID screen, press F12 several times. The device selection menu appears. 2. Use the up and down arrows to select CD-ROM or an USB Flash Drive. 3. To boot from the selected device, press ENTER. Note: Using an incorrect BIOS setting can cause a system malfunction. Please follow the BIOS guide provided with your computer motherboard. If you read these instructions and you are not sure how to change a setting, it is better to leave it as the default setting. This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

This video would guide you on how to fully remove ubuntu from your Windows PC, save some time on booting by not having to go through the grub terminal each time to choose Windows from the list, and of course you will be able to recover back the disk space you allocated to ubuntu or whichever linux distribution you installed. There are two parts to it: 1. Removing the Linux operating system which in my case is Ubuntu, this will remove all system files as well as any data you may have on Ubuntu, so you should back up any files you have on Ubuntu before proceeding with this process. 2. Removing the grub bootloader, this is the initial screen that shows up each time you bootup, from where you choose which of the two operating systems you want to run, now you need to remove that as well. It really doesn’t matter which you do first. In some cases, whether you are using a different version of the Ubuntu Live Cd or whatever the case may be, you may need to know how to manually setup a second partition and install Ubuntu to it. [How To] - Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure

05:49
How to "Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure" There are situations when your system keeps restarting on its own. It continuously restarting that you wont even get the time to see the error on blue screen or perform any operation. In short it goes into a Restart Loop. So in this video first I will show you how to disable that continuous restart issue and then you can easily get to the advanced option. This can be achieved by "Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure" through Advanced Boot Menu. So there are multiple ways of doing that. If you are using Windows 7 then on startup the computer pressing F8 can get you to this advanced boot menu option. But this may differe from system to system. You may have to use FN key along with F8. In windows 8 you need to use the the same key along with Shift or FN. or you can use the Installation CD or Bootable USB. So I am going to show you how to get to that option using USB. The process is same for installation CD. First go to the BIOS Setting. In my system I am able to go to BIOS using F2 key. It may be different in your case. You can easily find out the which key is used to go to the BIOS by simply paying attention while your system is started. It displays the option. ON the top of the section you will see five different tabs. Main, Advanced, Security, Boot and Exit. Again it may differe from system to system having less or more option in different order. Now the first thing you need to do in order to boot the system through Disk or USB is to change the boot order from BIOS. So once your control is over the Mail Tab here, then simply press the right key from your key board to move it to the 4th option BOOT. Here You can see different boot device is some order. In my case I am going to boot from USB so the first boot device is set as +Removable Devices. If you want to set the first boot device as Disk then press the down arrow to move the control over CD-ROM Drive. Then at the bottom of the screen the instructions are there how to move it to the first place. Here it says Change Values by using + or - Sign along with Shift. So you want to move it to Upward, press + sign untill it reaches to the top. Once you set the boot device order, then in order to save the changes press F10 Key from the keyboard. In some system you need to press fn+F10 to save the changes. Now as soon as you save the changes, your system gets restarted and then it will find the boot device as per your preference. In my case it will detect a bootable USB device and try to boot from it. click on next. Here instead of clicking on Install Now, chose the option, repair now. Select the option troubleshoot. You will have multiple options to troubleshoot. Like Refresh Your PC, Reset Your PC, and Advanced Options. Click on advanced options. So this is the option, lot of people were not able to get while solving the issue. If you have the Installation CD, follow the same. Or make a bootable USB using the method shown in this link, and follow the process shown in this video. Once you get to the advanced option, further process of resolving this error is shown in a seperate video. Here we are trying to get out of that Continuous Restart Loop. So once you click on Advanced option, click on Startup settings. So this is the Advanced Boot Options Screen. Where you can find multiple option and the very last option is "Disable automatic restart on system failure." Here the screen says, restart to change windows options such as one of this. So click on Restart and you will get this screen. And now here you will have the choice to select any of these options. We need to select the last option so it says, press a number to choose from the options below. For that use number key or function keys f1-f9. Our needed option is listed a 9th number, so press F9 or 9 number from numpad and your system will be released from the curse of getting continuous restart. Still your issue of this error will not get resolved, but at least, you will be able to follow the process shown in this video to get your issue resolved. I hope you liked the video. Keep sharing it, provide your valuable comment in the below comment box and do not forget to hit the subscribe button. Thanks.

How to FIX : Your PC Ran Into a Problem and Needs to Restart | INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

07:41
Download Windows Boot Genius (http://bit.ly/2CC8eYx) to boot up Windows computer from various scenarios, such as black screen, blue screen, frozen, etc. FIX : Your PC Ran Into a Problem and Needs to Restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. (0%) If you'd like to know more, you can search online later for this error: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE Many times the following error "Your PC Ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you." makes a lot of trouble for you and it does not even let you login. It automatically goes into the infinite restart loop mode. So here is the solution. Eventually this error message stands for a very short time. So when you start your system, this error pops up like for a second and then suddenly restarts the system. So after the error pop up, immediately system restarts and then starts this "Automatic Repair". After sometime it starts "Diagnosing your PC" and finally when it finds out there is nothing to do more, comes up with these tow options "Restart and Advanced Option". So Before going into the Advanced option for resolving this issue, let me tell you why this situation comes.? There are multiple reasons which includes, 1) Changes in registry 2) Recent changes in Hardware of the system. 3) Any recent driver insatllation which went wrong. 4) Improper shutdown of the system which includes forcefull shutdown. Once you go to the "Automatic Repair" screen and Restart the system, it comes with the same error and end up there again only. So Go to the "Advanced Option". Select the "Troubleshoot" option. Here there are multiple options "Refresh your PC", "Reset your PC", "Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery toolset" and "Advanced Options". Click on "Advanced Options" as the other options are not going to help you. Under the "Advanced options" there are again multiple options. "System Restore" which is help full only if you have created a Restore Point. "System Image Recovery" is help full only if the Image Recovery is created. Both these options are not going to help me here as i didnt created both. We already did "Startup Repair" and "Startup Settings" contains different options. So click on fourth option "Command Prompt" and from here we are going to restore the registry to the previous state prior to the changes. Go to following Location "C:\Windows\System32\Config\RegBack" and copy all the following files "Default", "SAM", "Security", "Software" and "System" to the previous directory that is "C"\Windows\System32\Config". Before copying these files to the Config folder, please take the back from Config folder. Once you restore the registry files, restart your system. And magically your system will start again normally. If you like the video, keep sharing the video and subscribe to the channel to get the future updates. Audio Tracks Used : 1. Follow Me 2. TTL 93: Dual Booting Windows 8.1 and Android Tablets? Can This Be Good?

13:02
Intel took the stage at CES 2014 to announce what they've been working on. Among the long list of innovations, they were pleased to show off their new dual booting solutions! Dual booting is certainly nothing new, as most IT and enthusiasts use it to stage test environments or simply to have options. The premise behind dual booting is simple, you run multiple versions of an operating system on one physical hard drive! That it, see, I told you, simple. Intel is laying the ground work for a platform that will allow OEMs to dual boot Windows 8.1 and Android. Depending on what side of the fence you lay, this could certainly be a win/win situation! The target audience is easy to imagine, the person on the market for a new tablet has three choices, Windows, Android or iOS. With this dual boot solution, the consumer is now able to purchase a device that covers 2/3 of the feature set. Depending on how you do your math, Android could cover a lot more of it's share of the pie that iOS. With great power and promise comes great confusion. As awesome as a dual booting sounds to a nerd like me, who would love to have the best of everything, but what about the regular person who really doesn't understand what is going on here? Because these are two completely different operating systems, they both operate in completely different eco-systems. This can bring about a whole host of problems and confusion to consumers. Be sure to check out the video as we discuss in details the different scenarios and caveats involved! ________________________________________________ Check out Lifestyles Defined for more on fashion, technology, auto, entertainment and much more.
