NOTE: 6-21-2017 - THIS VIDEO IS VERY OLD. I considered removing it, but I will keep it up as long as people are finding it useful.
Way back when I posted this I was heavy into Outlook, Sharepoint, and such. Since then, I've completely reinvented my business that focuses on creating marketing videos for people. Due to being out of the Outlook world for so long, I am unable to answer questions about these products or practices anymore, but perhaps someone else reading will be able to shed light on your questions. People are great like that :)
http://www.virtualassist.net. Have you ever wanted to send out a survey to your co-workers to gather information? The voting buttons feature in Outlook can do just that, when used with an Exchange Server. This feature is also in earlier versions of Outlook as well.
An additional bonus is that you don't have to use typical Yes, No, Maybe buttons. You can create custom buttons as well. Imagine you're in charge of your company picnic and you need to take orders for the food that the company will be providing. You would create buttons such as
Beef, Chicken, Veggie
and send them in an email to poll your co-workers. They reply with a click of a button and you have a tracking tab to tally the votes and place the food order. What could normally be a cumbersome and time-consuming chore is made quite simple by using voting buttons. If you're the one tasked with this job, you're now a whole lot more productive. Thanks Outlook!
