The payments Race returns, this time in Asia!
The adventure in traveling solely with Bitcoin will start from Hong Kong and all the way down to Singapore.
The series of video that is about to come will cover two things that I love.
Firstly is travel, as I cross from Hong Kong to Singapore the beautiful Asia, meeting new people and discovering their culture. The second thing will be my experiences of using the famous cryptocurrency Bitcoin amongst others. I believe cryptocurrencies are the future of money, and here I will be doing demonstrations on how to use cryptocurrencies, how to pay with bitcoin, how to use a digital wallet, how to send and receive money.
I personally use Blockchain Wallet ( https://www.blockchain.com ) which is the mobile wallet I have used in my previous race from Toronto to Las Vegas - see more here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkqJ1N2LHwLANpMZvkNHO3ZYFQrtN5TTG&disable_polymer=true
My aim is to make this adventure very interactive and you will be able to participate by asking your questions. Join me on my journey to become the first woman in the world to cross Asia only using directly Bitcoin.
Get involved and join #TeamBitcoin !
The more we are, the more fun we have!

Here below is a bit of behind the scene of the first video :)
I am very nervous to take selfie video again. I am hesitating to ask the people around me or not, from my experience in the last race people tend to get funny when you don’t ask, and then tell you you it is against the law so this time, I think I will ask.
This is a work assignment after all right ?!
And the more I wait the more people will get on the train..
It’s very awkward to do this, talking to a camera, and it’s very strange, I looked at techniques online and if you rename your camera, it psychologically become like a friend and apparently it makes it easier to do selfie video, personally I think it makes you go crazy to think your camera is a friend, it’s just the path to craziness so I will pretend that I am talking to you all about my journey traveling with bitcoin, I’ll ask you to leave comments and participate, it would definitely make it easier.
I eventually did it, asked the lady in front of me if she wouldn’t mind helping me, that it was a work assignment and I needed to record my journey and take selfie video but that I was feeling very awkward doing it. Her reply was very positive she said she would help, that it was a very unusual and unexpected request.
We did a quick video, people were looking but... hey ho! It’s life, I gathered It would be a bit strange to do it again for the first time.
I first went to the landmark hotel where Euromoney event was held, there I met Teana, CMO of Coinfloor and the co-founders Mark and Obi. Amazing people, I was there to ask them a few questions and get to know them more. We had a long and very lovely chat about how they got into Cryptocurrencies, how they started Coinfloor their view for the future of crypto.
Thank you Coinfloor for sponsoring me on that race, the team is, and least to say, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !
Coinfloor is the UK’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, providing a secure and accessible platform for institutional and sophisticated investors to trade and invest crypto. For more information, please visit www.Coinfloor.com
I will be mentored by some great minds in payments including Teo Vincent, VP of OCBC Bank, Anson Zeall, CEO of Coinpip, and Leda Glyptis, CIO at QNB Group.
