Top 5 Technologies in 2019 : https://youtu.be/aCY1GyKVpBw Python Tutorial for Beginners: https://goo.gl/cLKYQP 5 skills for IT Professional: https://goo.gl/ba6Ui7 Top 5 technologies to learn in 2018. Technologies are : IoT (Internet of Things) Cloud Computing Blockchain Artificial Intelligence Big Data IoT : The Internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enables these objects to connect and exchange data. The IoT allows objects to be sensed or controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure. Cloud Computing: Cloud computing enables ubiquitous access to shared pools of configurable system resources and higher-level services that can be rapidly provisioned with minimal management effort, often over the Internet. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economy of scale, similar to a utility. Third-party clouds enable organizations to focus on their core businesses instead of expending resources on computer infrastructure and maintenance. Cloud providers typically use a "pay-as-you-go" model. Blockchain: A blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography which is resistant to modification of the data. Each block typically contains a hash pointer as a link to a previous block, a timestamp and transaction data. Blockchains are secure by design and are an example of a distributed computing system The first blockchain was conceptualized in 2008 by an anonymous person or group known as Satoshi Nakamoto and implemented in 2009 as a core component of bitcoin where it serves as the public ledger for all transactions. Artificial intelligence: AI is intelligence displayed by machines. In computer science, AI research is defined as the study of "intelligent agents": any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of success at some goal. Colloquially, the term "artificial intelligence" is applied when a machine mimics "cognitive" functions that humans associate with other human minds, such as "learning" and "problem-solving Big Data: Big data is data sets that are so voluminous and complex that traditional data processing application software is inadequate to deal with them. Big data challenges include capturing data, data storage, data analysis, search, sharing, transfer, visualization, querying, updating and information privacy. There are three dimensions to big data known as Volume, Variety and Velocity. Editing Monitors : https://amzn.to/2RfKWgL https://amzn.to/2Q665JW https://amzn.to/2OUP21a. The medical device industry is overshadowed by huge companies which both stifle innovation and drain available resources. In the field of retinal imaging, there are just a handful of companies with revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars but they make large and expensive devices that are inappropriate for the developing world. Dr Craig Robertson and his company, Epipole, make smart intelligent devices that address specific illnesses using robust, high quality but relatively inexpensive hardware and very intelligent cloud-based storage and computing. In his talk, Craig will look at what disruption means in the medical device industry. He’ll explore how we can make devices that fulfil the needs of the many, not the few, and make them at a price that allows for ethical trading. Dr. Craig Robertson is the founder of Epipole Ltd, a company which develops intellectual property in the domain of image, data and signal processing. His current project is a medical device which is particularly tuned to the detection of retinopathy. Craig’s background is in invention, mathematical problem solving and algorithm development. He invented 3D data acquisition systems, holds patents in the fields of optics, software and medical devices and has been a programmer for over 30 years. Craig has produced over thirty peer-reviewed papers, co-authored three books and produced many technical reports on subjects ranging from automated diagnosis to evolutionary optimisation and Open Source business integration. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

005 - Water Resources In this video Paul Andersen explains how water is unequally distributed around the globe through the hydrologic cycles. Seawater is everywhere but is not useful without costly desalination. Freshwater is divided between surface water and groundwater but must me stored and moved for domestic, industrial, and agricultural uses. Subsidized low cost water has created a problem with water conservation but economic changes could help solve the problem. Do you speak another language? This massive scale of fossil fuel dependence pollutes the earth, and it won’t last forever. On the other hand, we have abundant sun, water and wind, which are all renewable energy sources. So why don’t we exchange our fossil fuel dependence for an existence based only on renewables? Federico Rosei and Renzo Rosei describe the challenges. While very few leaders were beheaded in the course of this one, it changed the lives of more people more dramatically than any of the political revolutions we've discussed. So, why did the Industrial Revolution happen around 1750 in the United Kingdom? Coal. Easily accessible coal, it turns out. All this, plus you'll finally learn the difference between James Watt and Thomas Newcomen, and will never again be caught telling people that your blender has a 900 Newcomen motor. https://ecoursereview.com/cloud-computing-pros-and-cons-for-business-it/ 3 Types of Cloud Computing Services: IaaS PaaS SaaS Explained You Might Wonder – What Is Cloud Computer: #Cloudcomputing is a set of forms that contain certain elements that allows for on-demand, network access, scalability, and shared resources. It's a platform for managing, storing, and processing data online through the internet. Some of the cloud computing features include the following: - On-Demand Services – Available when you need it - Network Access – When using the internet as your medium - Shared Resources – All resources are gathered together and used by multiple customers - Scalability - The ability of a computer system to adapt to increasing demands The Three Delivery Models: Cloud computing provides different services based on three delivery configurations. When they are arranged in a pyramid structure, they are in the order of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. The Three Services: #SaaS - Software as a Service This service provides on-demand pay per use of the application software for users and is independent of a platform. You do not have to install software on your computer, unlike a license paid program. Cloud runs a single occurrence of the software, making it available for multiple end-users allowing the service to be cheap. All the computing resources that are responsible for delivering SaaS are totally managed by the vendor. The service is accessible through a web browser or lightweight client applications. End customers use SaaS regularly. The most popular SaaS providers offer the following products and services: Google Ecosystem including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, Microsoft Office 365, and SalesForce. #PaaS - Platform as a Service This service is mostly a development environment that is made up of a programming language execution environment, an operating system, web server, and database. It provides an environment where users can build, compile, and run their program without worrying about an hidden infrastructure. You manage the data and application resources. All the other resources are managed by the vendor. This is the realm for developers. PaaS providers offer the following products and services: Amazon Web services, Elastic Beanstalk, Google App Engine, Windows Azure, Heroku, and Force.com #IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service This service provides the architecture and infrastructure. It provides all computing resources but in a virtual environment so multiple users can have access. The resources include data storage, virtualization, servers, and networking. Most vendors are responsible for managing them. If you use this service, you are responsible for handling other resources including applications, data, runtime, and middleware. This is mostly for SysAdmins. IaaS providers offer the following products and services: Amazon EC2, Go Grid, and Rackspace.com. Here is a short list of some companies that use cloud computing: iCloud – Cloud from Apple is for Apple products. You can backup and store everything from multimedia to documents online. The content is then smoothly integrated onto your devices. Amazon's AWS - When you talk about companies using cloud computing, Amazon Web Services leads the pack. It offers IaaS and PaaS to all their customers. Google Cloud – This cloud platform is universal for Google's enormous ecosystem and for other products such as Microsoft Office. It provides storage of data and collaboration along with other services that are included in their cloud computing suite. Microsoft Azure – Offered by Microsoft, it provides SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS for its software and developer tools. If you have used Office 365, then you have used SaaS. IBM Smart Cloud - This offers private, public, and hybrid distribution platforms providing a full range of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud computing services for businesses. The pay as you go platform generates profits for IBM. New technology is popping up all over the internet and Cloud seems to be on the rise. This is only scratching the surface on what is already available and what will become available throughout 2017. --- 3 Types of Cloud Computing Services - IaaS PaaS SaaS Explained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36zducUX16w #CloudComputingServices #CloudComputing --- Follow us on https://www.facebook.com/EcourseReviews https://twitter.com/EcourseReviews https://plus.google.com/+Ecoursereview/posts https://ecoursereview.com/

CAMPUS PLACEMENT PROCEDURE The campus placement procedure consists of 3 parts- A written test which is followed by a Placement interview which is both technical, and HR based. Written Test – The written test was divided into 3 sections – an aptitude test, a coding section and a technical section. The aptitude test was not very challenging, and candidates can prepare for it using aptitude books, such as those by Arun Sharma. The coding section included C and C++, for which candidates can use books by Yashwanth Khanelkar or Balaguruswamy for help. Technical Section- The questions were mainly from Analogue electronics, digital electronics and communication systems. In Analogue electronics, the questions were mainly about diodes, transistors and equations relating to them. One advice for aspirants would be to focus on learning the equations well and practicing questions related to them since the questions are objective. For Digital Electronics, candidates can focus on Boolean algebra. As for communications, questions relating to basic filters were also asked. Candidates must be sure of the concepts and apply formulas to the questions given. HR Round- Questions covered several personal areas such as the candidate’s family background, schooling, and why they wanted to join Qualcomm. Placement tips and suggestions here for aspirants would be to prepare for such questions beforehand using the resources available since they can be very helpful in the actual interview. PLACEMENT TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS 1) Be confident of your skills 2) Maintain a decent percentage, since the cut-off for Qualcomm was 70%. 3) Be thorough with your concepts and read them well. 4) Practice questions from other books, but first be clear with the concepts you’re studying. In which Jacob Clifford and Adriene Hill teach you about Economic Systems and Macroeconomics. So, economics is basically about choices. We'll look at some of the broadest economic choices when we talk about the difference between planned economies and market economies. We'll get into communism, socialism, command economies, and capitalism. We'll look at how countries choose the kind of system they're going to use (spoiler alert: many end up with mixed economies). We'll also look into how individuals make economic choices. Crash Course is now on Patreon! At the heart of a new mine construction or expansion project is the efficient use of capital and the delivery of a design that will enable the operation to meet its expectations. The costs, time, and effort required to complete construction successfully are both high and challenging to manage due to the difficulty in coordinating all of the individual requirements, contractors, and stakeholders involved. Dassault Systèmes’ Lean Mine Construction unites mining companies and their engineering, procurement, construction, and management (EPCM) partners in an immersive collaborative universe for site infrastructure and processing plant design, project planning, procurement, and construction management. In which John Green teaches you about World War 2, as it was lived on the home front. You'll learn about how the war changed the country as a whole, and changed how Americans thought about their country. John talks about the government control of war production, and how the war probably helped to end the Great Depression. A broader implementation of the income tax, the growth of large corporations, and the development of the West Coast as a manufacturing center were also results of the war. The war positivelychanged the roles of women and African Americans, but it was pretty terrible for the Japanese Americans who were interred in camps. In short, World War II changed America's role in the world, changed American life at home, and eventually spawned the History Channel. At home in America, everyone joined in the war effort, with everyone contributing to American industry: https://www.commonlit.org/texts/how-american-industry-won-world-war-ii But America had its fair share of shame, such as when the country turned away Jewish refugees on the St. Louis who would die in the Holocaust: https://www.commonlit.org/texts/jewish-refugees-on-the-st-louis During World War II, there was also a painful period of Japanese relocation and internment throughout the country: https://www.commonlit.org/texts/japanese-relocation-during-world-war-ii Follow us! @thecrashcourse @realjohngreen @crashcoursestan @raoulmeyer @bra8dybrunch

In which Stan Muller subs for John Green and teaches you about energy and humanity. Today we discuss the ideas put forth by Alfred Crosby in his book, Children of the Sun. Historically, almost all of the energy that humans use has been directly or indirectly generated by the sun, whether that be food energy from plants, wind energy, direct solar energy, or fossil fuels. Stan looks into these different sources, and talks about how humanity will continue to use energy in the future as populations grow and energy resources become more scarce. Perdido is the deepest floating oil rig (platform) in the world at a water depth of about 2450 meters operated by the Shell Oil Company in the Gulf of Mexico. The Perdido is located in the Perdido fold belt which is a rich discovery of crude oil and natural gas that lies in water that is nearly 8000 feet deep. The platform's peak production will be 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. At 267 meters, the Perdido is nearly as tall as the Eiffel Tower. An oil rig is a large structure with facilities to drill wells, to extract and process oil and natural gas, and to temporarily store product until it can be brought to shore for refining and marketing. In many cases, the platform contains facilities to house the workforce as well. Some of the displayed images will have a holographic quality to them, depending upon the smart glass manufacturer, making the image appear as if it were real and in front of the smart glasses 2)leap motion:- The Leap Motion controller is a small USB peripheral device which is designed to be placed on a physical desktop, facing upward. Using two monochromatic IR cameras and three infrared LEDs, the device observes a roughly hemispherical area, to a distance of about 1 meter (3 feet). The LEDs generate a 3D pattern of dots of IR light and the cameras generate almost 300 frames per second of reflected data, which is then sent through a USB cable to the host computer, where it is analyzed by the Leap Motion controller software using "complex math" in a way that has not been disclosed by the company, in some way synthesizing 3D position data by comparing the 2D frames generated by the two cameras. The smaller observation area and higher resolution of the device differentiates the product from the Kinect, which is more suitable for whole-body tracking in a space the size of a living room. In a demonstration to CNET, The Leap was shown to perform tasks such as navigating a website, using pinch-to-zoom gestures on maps, high-precision drawing, and manipulating complex 3D data visualizations. Leap Motion CEO Michael Buckwald told CNET: Leap Motion initially distributed thousands of units to developers who are interested in creating applications for the device. The Leap Motion controller was first shipped in July, 2013 3)3D printing :- 3D printing or Additive manufacturing is a process of making a three-dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model. 3D printing is achieved using an additive process, where successive layers of material are laid down in different shapes. 3D printing is also considered distinct from traditional machining techniques, which mostly rely on the removal of material by methods such as cutting or drilling (subtractive processes). A 3D printer is a limited type of industrial robot that is capable of carrying out an additive process under computer control. While 3D printing technology has been around since the 1980s, it was not until the early 2010s that the printers became widely available commercially. The first working 3D printer was created in 1984 by Chuck Hull of 3D Systems Corp. Since the start of the 21st century there has been a large growth in the sales of these machines, and their price has dropped substantially. According to Wohlers Associates, a consultancy, the market for 3D printers and services was worth $2.2 billion worldwide in 2012, up 29% from 2011. The 3D printing technology is used for both prototyping and distributed manufacturing with applications in architecture, construction (AEC), industrial design, automotive, aerospace, military, 4)transparent phone :- processor - which is said to be faster than the current Apple A4 processor. One more rumor about the iPhone 5 is that it will come in two variants - one with a QWERTY keyboard. But one source says that the iPad 3 will have the A6 processor - is the macroscalar processor the same? Which begs the question: "Will the iPhone 5 have the same CPU - or an A5?" A patent search does reveal that Apple is the owner of five patents of the macroscalar processor architecture. The latest is 8,065,502 and is dated November 22, 2011. Apple may even hold the copyright on the term as it appears to be new to our language. The new CPU concept seems to be a "looped parallel program 6)flying car new technology :- Flying car technology is turning a dream into reality

It uses an incredible amount of resources, emits toxic pollutants into the air, and pumps the ground full of formaldehyde, which is known to cause cancer. It's also prohibitively expensive. The average cost of a modern funeral costs between $10,000 to $12,000. There are a number of greener options available though. Cremation uses less resources and requires less space than a traditional burial, but isn't perfect. There are more experimental methods on the horizon such as promession and alkaline hydrolysis. No matter which method we choose, it's clear that we need to reform how we bury the dead. Also be sure to read Mark Harris's excellent book about green burials http://www.gravematters.us

FOOD RANGER MERCH NOW AVAILABLE! http://bit.ly/FOODRANGER Follow me on Insta: http://bit.ly/2c5ojch And subscribe to my channel here: http://bit.ly/2cCy2ub I visited this local market near the outskirts of Chengdu, Sichuan, China, and found Chinese street food and the atmosphere to be mind blowing and exciting! It was truly an experience visiting this Chinese street market! So much food and Sichuan ingredients, so many flavours to try! These are the outtakes from the second Unheard of Chinese Street Food you Must try. Part 1: https://youtu.be/OXIe9u-i8JQ Part 2: https://youtu.be/vbfvkyuGP9w I visited this morning market on a Sunday morning in Chengdu at 8am with an empty stomach and money to blow with the goal of tasting cheap street foods and chatting with as many locals as possible. This is a true China experience. It was so busy, with so many people, so many things to buy and look at, tons of vegetables, meat, live chickens, live hens, live roosters, everything you could want really. Fresh handmade noodles, fresh Sichuan cold "liangbancai", and a huge meat market deli area with hanging pork and beef to choose from. All of the locals were friendly and talkative, although a bit surprised to see a foreigner walking through the area! If you're visiting China as a tourist, you'll definitely want to take a walk through a busy morning market like this trying fresh and cheap street food. There are countless street foods to try and people to chat to (If you speak a little mandarin). This market was mind blowing! Rather than trying hot pot in Chengdu or hot pot in Chongqing, you could try some way cooler food in Chengdu at local market like this. This should be a top priority in my opinion! Chinese cuisine is so diverse, and I consider myself lucky to be able to live in Sichuan, eating Sichuan food everyday, tasting all the top Chinese foods to try whenever I want. I've decided to stay living in China for at least another 2 or 3 years to get the feel of it and eat as much as I can! In our variable climate, as our population increases and industries change, competition for Australia’s precious water resources intensifies. To ensure we have enough water for everyone, it is important to account for how water is managed across Australia. We need to know how much water is available, where it is, and how it’s being used. The Bureau of Meteorology’s National Water Account provides an annual picture of water availability. It plays a critical role in the planning and decision-making processes of governments and industry. This video summarises the key findings of the National Water Account 2014 from a national perspective. For more information, go to http://www.bom.gov.au/water/nwa/2014/

Professional, competitive video game playing—the phenomenon known as esports—has seen double digit growth for much of the past decade. With a massive following, many say it will soon become an official Olympic event. Throughout the U.S., high schools are launching competitive gaming clubs, and even some colleges are offering scholarships to top players. It’s a dream come true for professional esports players—traveling the world and paid salaries to play video games full time for a living. But as money continues to pour into the industry, the pressure on these young pros—many still in their teens—is leading to early burnout from high stress, repetitive stress injuries, and grueling practice schedules. In this episode of CBSN Originals, we follow pro esports players Doublelift (League of Legends) and Space (Overwatch) as they compete for glory, get an inside look at what it takes to be pro, and explore the risks many are taking to stay at the top. -- Subscribe to the CBS News Channel HERE: http://youtube.com/cbsnews Watch CBSN live HERE: http://cbsn.ws/1PlLpZ7 Follow CBS News on Instagram HERE: https://www.instagram.com/cbsnews/ Like CBS News on Facebook HERE: http://facebook.com/cbsnews Follow CBS News on Twitter HERE: http://twitter.com/cbsnews Get the latest news and best in original reporting from CBS News delivered to your inbox. Watch the latest in the Ocean series - What sharks reveal about the state of the Ocean: https://youtu.be/6xz1mxppMhY The ocean covers 70% of our planet. The deep-sea floor is a realm that is largely unexplored, but cutting-edge technology is enabling a new generation of aquanauts to go deeper than ever before. Click here to subscribe to The Economist on YouTube: http://econ.trib.al/rWl91R7 Beneath the waves is a mysterious world that takes up to 95% of Earth's living space. Only three people have ever reached the bottom of the deepest part of the ocean. The deep is a world without sunlight, of freezing temperatures, and immense pressure. It's remained largely unexplored until now. Cutting-edge technology is enabling a new generation of aquanauts to explore deeper than ever before. They are opening up a whole new world of potential benefits to humanity. The risks are great, but the rewards could be greater. From a vast wealth of resources to clues about the origins of life, the race is on to the final frontier The Okeanos Explorer, the American government state-of-the-art vessel, designed for every type of deep ocean exploration from discovering new species to investigating shipwrecks. On board, engineers and scientists come together to answer questions about the origins of life and human history. Today the Okeanos is on a mission to investigate the wreck of a World War one submarine. Engineer Bobby Moore is part of a team who has developed the technology for this type of mission. The “deep discover”, a remote operating vehicle is equipped with 20 powerful LED lights and designed to withstand the huge pressure four miles down. Equivalent to 50 jumbo jets stacked on top of a person While the crew of the Okeanos send robots to investigate the deep, some of their fellow scientists prefer a more hands-on approach. Doctor Greg stone is a world leading marine biologist with over 8,000 hours under the sea. He has been exploring the abyss in person for 30 years. The technology opening up the deep is also opening up opportunity. Not just to witness the diversity of life but to glimpse vast amounts of rare mineral resources. Some of the world's most valuable metals can be found deep under the waves. A discovery that has begun to pique the interest of the global mining industry. The boldest of mining companies are heading to the deep drawn by the allure of a new Gold Rush. But to exploit it they're also beating a path to another strange new world. In an industrial estate in the north of England, SMD is one of the world's leading manufacturers of remote underwater equipment. The industrial technology the company has developed has made mining possible several kilometers beneath the ocean surface. With an estimated 150 trillion dollars’ worth of gold alone, deep-sea mining has the potential to transform the global economy. With so much still to discover, mining in the deep ocean could have unknowable impact. It's not just life today that may need protecting; reaching the deep ocean might just allow researchers to answer some truly fundamental questions. Hydrothermal vents, hot springs on the ocean floor, are cracks in the Earth's crust. Some claim they could help scientists glimpse the origins of life itself. We might still be years away from unlocking the mysteries of the deep. Even with the latest technology, this kind of exploration is always challenging. As the crew of the Okeanos comes to terms with a scale of the challenge and the opportunity that lies beneath, what they and others discover could transform humanity's understanding of how to protect the ocean. It's the most hostile environment on earth, but the keys to our future may lie in the deep.
