1118(Tax Credit) How to use tax credit statement 26 AS to avail tax credit while filing tax return?

1118(Tax Credit) How to use tax credit statement 26 AS to avail tax credit while filing tax return? Project - Make Knowledge Free Case Methodology - Harvard Case Methodology Video Link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ0d9Zr3kbo Narration - By Amlan Dutta Fore previous year 2013 14 ,i am a resident non senior individual. i have salary income 1027185 and FD interest income of 63198 Rs .Besides i have invested in prescribed investment under section 80 C listed under chapter VI A in Provident fund . So my total income boils down to 990380 and taxes as applicable for previous year 2013 14 implying assessment year 2014 15 is 131918 Rs Before attempting to pay any advance /self assessment tax , i check once how much tax credit i have available in my tax credit statement ( Form 26 AS) I see employer BHEL has using it's TAN registration for Mumbai unit deducted against my salary income against my PAN 118901 Rs .....so clearly i wont be required to pay this amount again because i have such credit of taxes paid against salary income as TDS credit , Like wise i see that Axis bank for it's cuffe parade usnit having TAM registration MUMUM000F2 has already deducted under section 194 A 10 % TDS against FD interest income of 63198 Rs i.e 6319.8 approximated to 6320 Rs ..... So clearly , i therefore can take credit of this taxes as well ! But i still figure out that the total tax liability of 13918 Rs is not covered by the total TDS credit i have available due to salary and bank interest .That is i have a total TDS credit of Rs 118901 + 6320 = 125221 Rs So , i need further tax credit of 131918 - 125293 = 6698 Rs to meet my tax liability on total income else Jaitley will run after me !So,, i use the income tax challan (280 )Rs to make this payment of 6698 Rs to build my tax credit on account of advance tax payment ! Now while availaing tax credit , i have different specified fields for salary TDS , Non salary TDS , property Sale TDS. Again i have separate fields for availaing tax credit due to payment of income tax towards self assessment /advance tax So , using the salary TDS field , i avail tax credit for salary TDS i.e 118901 Rs stating that against TAN registration XXX--- i have credit available for Rs 118901 Rs which has already deducted against my salary and deposited to revenue Likewise against non salary TDS filed for claiiming tax credit , i cliam tax credit for 6320 Rs deducted as TDS against bank interest stating that such amount has already been deducted from my interest income as TDS and deposited to revenue ! Again using the schedule Income tax , i cliam credit for paid taxes 6698 Rs stating that against challan no xxx-- dated so and so , i have deposited 6698 Rs ! The assessing officer during assessment checks whether i have such credit reflecting in my tax credit statement against TDS and income tax paid details .If yes , he accepts my tax credit claim ! Hope the concept is clear like water ! Cheers , Amlan Dutta

Irish P60 Statement - Explained!

02:40
https://www.taxback.com/en/ireland/paye-tax-refund-application-form/ You may not realise it but your P60 is actually a really important document! The P60 is an end of year statement of pay, tax, USC, and PRSI deducted by your employer during the year. If you were employed in Ireland on the 31st December 2017, then you should get your P60 between the 1st of January and the 15th of February. Now Let me explain each section: The top part of your P60 shows your personal details such as your name, address, PPS number, tax credit, and rate band information. It also confirms the year. Section A confirms your gross taxable pay for the year. This figure is calculated after any pension contributions have been deducted via payroll, which may explain any difference when you compare this figure to your gross pay as stated in your contract of employment. Section B confirms the total tax deducted for the year. If you changed jobs during the year, the tax paid will be divided into that paid by your previous employer and that paid by your current employer, giving a total summary for the year. Section C will show any Local Property Tax deductions you paid via your employer. Section D confirms the amount of pay subject to USC in the year. This figure may not be the same as the amount of pay subject to tax because it's calculated before any pension deductions. Section E confirms the total amount of USC deducted from your income in this employment. And section F provides details of PRSI paid in your current employment. And lastly, the bottom section shows your employer’s details, including name, registration number, and address. The most important thing to note on your P60 are your tax credits. Sometimes payroll may not factor in all of your tax credits, especially if your circumstances changed throughout the year. For example, if you got married, if you had tuition fees or if you had medical expenses, you could be due tax back! In this case you may be able to claim additional credits after the end of the tax year, which would mean a tax refund. At Taxback.com, we can use information from you and on your P60’s from the last 4 years to see if you’re due a refund. Simply Apply Now with Taxback.com to see if you’re due money back! Find out more about your P60 in this article here: https://www.taxback.com/blog/how-to-use-your-p60-can-make-you-money

How Amazon Paid $0 Federal Income Tax in 2018

12:14
Amazon paid $0 in federal income taxes in 2018. On top of that, the company also received a multi-million dollar tax rebate from the federal government. How does the company do it? President Trump's tax cuts, aggressive revenue reinvestment, years of R&D, and employee stock compensation all helped. Does America have a corporate income tax problem? Amazon is one of the world's most valuable companies, valued at nearly $800 billion, and the e-commerce giant pulled in $232.9 billion in global revenue in 2018. And yet, Amazon's federal tax bill this year: $0. For the second year in a row. In fact, Amazon is actually getting a federal tax refund of $129 million this year, due in part to a combination of tax credits and deductions. This is despite the fact that Amazon nearly doubled its taxable income in 2018 to $11.2 billion, from $5.6 billion a year earlier. In other words, Amazon is basically paying a -1 percent federal income tax rate this year after reportedly paying a federal rate of more than 11 percent between 2011 and 2016, according to The Week. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who has criticized Amazon in the past for not paying higher federal taxes, took to Twitter to point out that any Amazon Prime member paid more for that program's annual fee ($119) than the company paid in federal taxes. Prime has 100 million subscribers. "Amazon pays all the taxes we are required to pay in the U.S. and every country where we operate, including paying $2.6 billion in corporate tax and reporting $3.4 billion in tax expense over the last three years," an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement provided to CNBC Make It. Amazon reported its sizable federal refund in a recent corporate filing for the company's fourth-quarter earnings report. However, Amazon also notes in that filing that it will pay $756 million in total taxes this year, between state and international taxes. A report this week from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, or ITEP, a nonpartisan and nonprofit tax policy think tank, pointed out the fact that Amazon will not pay federal taxes for the second year in a row. In fact, last year, Amazon received an even larger refund, getting $137 million from the federal government. » Subscribe to CNBC: http://cnb.cx/SubscribeCNBC » Subscribe to CNBC TV: http://cnb.cx/SubscribeCNBCtelevision » Subscribe to CNBC Classic: http://cnb.cx/SubscribeCNBCclassic About CNBC: From 'Wall Street' to 'Main Street' to award winning original documentaries and Reality TV series, CNBC has you covered. How tax breaks help the rich

Check out http://www.vox.com to get up to speed on everything from Kurdistan to the Kim Kardashian app. The gap between the rich and the poor in America looks more like developing countries than other Western nations. Trump and the GOP have proposed tax plans that will give massive tax breaks to the wealthy while it remains unclear if the middle class will get a tax benefit. Deductions give a greater proportion of tax breaks to people with higher incomes. The same charitable contribution from two different incomes will benefit the higher wage earner, because deductions give tax breaks in proportion with tax brackets. Other countries have eliminated certain tax deductions in favor of tax credits. Credits give breaks in proportion to the amount you give, not the amount you owe. There are two kinds of income in the US. We tax wage income at a higher rate than income earned in stocks and bonds. That means people who get their income from capital gains and stock market interest pay fewer taxes than the same income of someone who works for a paycheck.

HOW TO FILE RECTIFICATION REQUEST FOR TAX CREDIT MISMATCH

19:53
HOW TO FILE RECTIFICATION REQUEST FOR TAX CREDIT MISMATCH Video Link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI1Uyf__m8k Narration - By Amlan Dutta Let the previous year ( financial year of whose income is being considered for taxation ) be 2013 14 . This is a live case and my case . I truly had income from salary and FD interest . My salary income was 9.54 lacs and bank FD interest income was 61622 rs Bank had not deducted TDS because i had wrongly furnished form 15 G ...while uploading return i saw my return computed tax payable for 17000 Rs but still uploaded it like that ...worst part was i uploaded this belated return under section 139(4) ...so i cannot now revise it under section 139(5) Few days later when people tell me that i had done wrong by not paying self assessmenttax , i used challan 280 to pay that much self assessment tax , but now i need to show those details which would be very easy to show in revised return but i can;t do that anymore So how to revise it ? So , once i get the intimation assessment under section 143(1) i validate the intimation which means i am rectifying the intimation which is passed against the return that i had originally filed Here then i get to rectify between taxpayer filed information and taxpayer filed tax credit Obviously i need to select tax credit to take credit of the self assessment tax paid ! I select taxpayer credit and select all entries for salary TDS , non saklary TDS and IT paid against self assessment /advance and fill in this entries ( salary TDS and self assessment tax paid ) to avail correctly the tax credit Then i upload the rectification request ! Aur kya pad rahey ho ! Ho gaya khatam ---Khush Now share knowledge ! Peace , Amlan Dutta

Tax Deductions for First Time Home Buyers

03:25
So you're pretty excited you bought your first home and you heard there are some pretty sweet tax deductions that will get you gobs of money back, cause after all it took truckloads of money to buy the thing so you should get some of that money back right? well, not exactly. You MAY or MAY NOT be able to deduct the expenses on your home there are a bunch of factors we need to consider so lets go thru the pieces... First, what can you deduct? When you first buy the home you can deduct any points you may have paid with the loan. You can check your settlement sheet to find them listed usually as loan origination fees. Points, are basically a % of the loan amount...so 1 point is equal to 1% of the loan amount. I would recommend that you don't pay points, your interest rate will be slightly higher, but over time most people don't stay in their home for 30 years or they'll refinance often... so better to save the up front costs. So if you OR the seller paid points they could be deductible for your new home purchase. Every year you'll be able to deduct the Real Estate Taxes and any Mortgage Interest that you spend as well as Mortgage Insurance, not home owners insurance, mortgage insurance premium, MIP for short, is the insurance you have to pay each month since you don't have 80% equity in the house. (the laws keep changing whether you can take the MIP) Just a side note here, you can get the MIP removed as soon as you hit the 80% value so pay attention, most times the mortgage company won't let you know when that occurs, and there are some things you can do to get rid of it sooner, like pay down the loan to the 80% value OR you could increase the value of the property thru remodeling and renovations. That's pretty much all you can deduct for your home, real estate taxes, mortgage interest, MIP & points paid in the first year of purchase. So what's that translate into for your refund? Begin by adding those numbers together with any other deductions you might have like medical expenses your spend over 10% of your income, state and local taxes, charities and work expenses you spend over 2% of your income. If that number goes over $12,400 for a married couple or $6200 for a single person, you would multiply the excess by your tax bracket, so if your in a 15% tax bracket you would get 15 cents for every dollar over $12,400 or $6200. so $1000 over you'd get back $150 dollars in your refund. If you didn't go over the 12,400 then you get nothing extra for having deductions. You may have spent a lot to purchase the home and not really see very much back in your refund. Buying at the end of the year won't help your cause much either.

How I bought a Tesla for $78 Per Month

12:51
I just bought the new 2019 Tesla Model 3 - here’s why it was only $78.39 per month. Enjoy! Add me on Instagram: GPStephan Tesla Referral Link: Get 1000 Miles Free Supercharging: https://ts.la/stephan88194 GET $50 OFF FOR A LIMITED TIME WITH COUPON CODE: THANKYOU50 - https://goo.gl/UFpi4c The Real Estate Agent Academy: Learn how to start and grow your career as a Real Estate Agent to a Six-Figure Income, how to best build your network of clients, expand into luxury markets, and the exact steps I’ve used to grow my business from $0 to over $125 million in sales: Join the private Real Estate Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/therealestatemillionairemastermind/ Merch: http://www.GrahamStephanStore.com/ So how does a $40,000 car come down to a price of $29,450? To start, this car is eligible for a $3750 federal tax credit until June 30th, 2019. This means if you pay more than $3750 in federal taxes, you will receive this entire amount back at the time you file your tax return. That money is as good as cash. California drivers are also eligible for a $2500 Electric Vehicle Rebate, in which the state will mail you a check for $2500 upon showing proof of purchase. Now Tesla gets a little sneaky after this…because in that $29,450 figure, Tesla also So excluding the gas savings and only focusing on the first two, cash-value rebates, the ACTUAL price of the car comes to $33,750. For a brand new Tesla. Standard Range Plus. With AutoPilot. So here’s how I bought this car for $78.39 per month: Because I financed 100% of the car, my ONLY out of pocket cost was the taxes, license, and registration - which came to $4437.01 From the remaining amount I financed, my payment comes to $640 per month, or $7680 in the first year. That means, in the first year, my total out of pocket cost is $12,117.01 between my payments, taxes, insurance, etc. However, after the rebates and tax credits, that brings my TOTAL cost of owning this car for the first year down to $5867.01. Because this car is for business use, the $1438 I pay in interest on the auto loan is a tax write off, the $4437 in taxes, licensing, and registration I paid upfront is a write off, and I can depreciate the car against my income. That’s a $14,075 tax write off…which saves me roughly about $4,926.25 in taxes. So remember…my total out of pocket cost was $5867.01 after electric vehicle tax incentives. PLUS I save $4926.25 in taxes…that means I’m effectively buying a BRAND new Tesla Model 3 for $78.39 per month out of pocket…and realistically, this works out to be a FREE car when you take into account that MOST of that $640 per month loan payment goes towards principle, and that I can invest my money in real estate at a significantly higher return than what I’m paying in interest on the Tesla. But in terms of out of pocket cost: $78.39 per month. And after going through the experience buying a Tesla like this, completely sight unseen, without ever having driven one before, I have to say…I don’t understand the concern of Tesla’s no-dealership model. Personally, I think the entire worry is overblown - and I think we’ll start to see a lot MORE car companies embracing this online-only business model. We’re naturally entering an era where everything is done online. I haven’t been to a mall or physical store in FOREVER because it’s more convenient to buy it online, and USUALLY for a more competitive price because online stores have lower overhead, and that savings is passed down to the customer. And for that, I have to give Tesla credit for being the first to really challenge the traditional business model of selling cars. Collection agencies are the biggest scam. I've seen these companies ruined lots of families lives by simply lying to them about paying a bill. the truth is that a collection account is negative on your report and paying the account is equally as bad because they will not remove the account, as a matter of fact, this will restart the timeframe in which an account remains on your report. A collection account showing up as paid is still negative as the credit scoring models are designed to pick that up as a negative account. this is still a negative reflection on your paying habits and finance companies just don't trust that. How to Pay Less Tax (Legally) - Robert Kiyosaki

Robert Kiyosaki will be speaking LIVE in: South Africa: http://www.nacsouthafrica.com/tv Catch PART 1 HERE:https://www.facebook.com/srseminars/videos/1118521498191246/ Subscribe to access more great videos, or check out: www.SRPL.net ========================== One of the reasons the rich keep getting richer is because when people say “Go to school and get a job” they’re telling their kids to become employees or small business owners. How much tax do they pay? Regular employees pay about 50% in tax while self-employed people like doctors, lawyers & accountants pay 60% tax. Business Owners on the other hand pay 20% tax with investors paying 0% tax. It is absolutely possible to go around paying 0% tax. You don't have to be a crook to not pay taxes, you just have to be smart. In fact, the government wants you to pay no tax. They use taxes as incentives to get you to do what they want you to do. The reason I pay no taxes is because I have four houses I live in but five thousand houses I rent out. By me providing housing, I pay zero tax -- because that's what the government wants me to do! - Robert Kiyosaki ========================== Robert Kiyosaki will be speaking LIVE in: South Africa: http://www.nacsouthafrica.com/tv Catch PART 1 HERE:https://www.facebook.com/srseminars/videos/1118521498191246/ Subscribe to access more great videos, or check out: www.SRPL.net

1077 (Tax Credit) How to avail Tax credit for self assessment Tax in tax return?

20:24
1116(Income tax) How to avail tax credit for self assessment Tax in tax return Project - Make Knowledge Free Case Methodology - Harvard Case Methodology Video Link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-75hZ4m06Zk Narration - By Amlan Dutta Fore previous year 2013 14 ,i am a resident non senior individual. i have salary income 1027185 and FD interest income of 63198 Rs .Besides i have invested in prescribed investment under section 80 C listed under chapter VI A in Provident fund . Cheers , Amlan Dutta.
