Need an easy world time converter. Perhaps you need to know the current time in Beijing, India, Chicago or anywhere else? On this video Mike from http://getmytips.com will show you how to find out the time anywhere in the world using the Google search app on a cell phone, iPad, Tablet, Laptop or PC. And best of all you do not need a special world time zone converter application or software. In fact, to find out the time in London, Tokyo, San Francisco or Seattle all you need do is ask your phone using your voice. And best of all, this time converter is FREE. Having the ability to know the time around the world is very useful if you work with a supplier in another country. There is no sense in contacting them after normal business hours. Using the technique in this video you can make sure that you get them on the phone when they are at work. Perhaps you work with a supplier in Shanghai or anywhere else in China, and you need to call them to confirm an order or other specifics then you must call them when they are actually at work, not home in bed sleeping. This video is brought to you by NeoNova If you frequently send invitations to people in different timezones, you know that Google Calendars automatically reflect the differences in the invitation. But scheduling a meeting can still be a little tricky if you're not sure what the difference actually is. Google Calendars actually allow you to add a second timezone to your default view, so you can always know the time in a different place. If your organization has offices in multiple locations, this can be a great way to ensure you're always on the same page with your team. There is also an option to add labels to your timezones, so you can be reminded what times you're looking at inside of your calendar. How To Schedule YouTube Video Uploads 0:00 In this video I'm going to show you how you can schedule your video uploads. So, you've created a lot of videos and you want to upload them all at once. Don't do it! Ok. This isn't the best thing to do when you have a number of videos available to upload, especially if they are in a series or a sequence. What you should do is upload them, maybe, once a week or once every few days, so that you have a regular upload on your YouTube channel. 0:54 What can you do once you have all these videos available that you don't want to sit around and have to upload them every time you put your video up. Well, you can schedule your uploads. This feature has been around for a while but not everybody is taking advantage of it. 1:10 So, I'm going to go through over to the computer, now, and I'm going to show you how you can schedule your videos, so you don't have to be around when they're added to your channel. 1:18 Here I am in my channel and to upload my video I, just, click on 'Upload' on the top. Then when I go into the upload area, I select "Scheduled" from the dropdown. Then I select my video and drop it in... 1:37 Here, we have Scheduled on the right hand site and we have the date that we can set this to. So I can set this any time in the future, say the July the 4th and I can set the time to any time, say midnight... and then select any time zone that you want. 1:57 One thing you need to do is to obviously make sure you have your Title, Description, Tags, Custom Thumbnail and a message for your Subscribers as well. Share on Google+, Facebook and Twitter-- all those things as you would if you were. Make sure to add your Annotations -- all of those good things before you Publish. 2:19 When you have it all done, click on Publish and your video is done. The next thing you want to do, if you have more videos, is to click on "Add more videos", upload your videos and do the same with those ones. So you put in your date. So you can put it any time in the future, say a week after that and click on Publish until you have all your videos done, in the sequence that you want. 2:44 So that's how you quickly and easily, schedule videos onto your YouTube channel. Now you don't have to be around, every time, to upload your video, you can upload them all at once and have them scheduled and dripping out over time, so that you have regular releases on your YouTube channel, which is what YouTube prefers you to have. Find out more: http://lifterlms.com Gavin Zuchlinski of Acuity Scheduling joins us on this episode of LMScast to discuss how to put membership presales calls or coaching call scheduling on autopilot with Chris Badgett of LifterLMS. Chris and Gavin discuss how scheduling appointments and coaching calls can be made simple and stress free. Acuity Scheduling is a product Gavin created in order to help his mom with her massage therapy business. A lot of business owners have difficulty with scheduling, especially when you have clients or employees in other time zones. Most businesses have accepted that having scheduling challenges is just something they will have to put up with, but Gavin decided that he would create a solution to scheduling chaos and thus Acuity Scheduling was born. Acuity is designed for business owners who care about making money and the professionalism of the product. It is for businesses that have scheduling as a day-to-day necessity for their business. Gavin shares his story of how Acuity Scheduling has grown from being a software solution for massage therapists to an all around solution to scheduling for businesses. Chris and Gavin talk about the versatility of Acuity Scheduling. Acuity can sync with your Google Calendar, iCloud, Office 365, and Exchange, so it can prevent double booking and balance your work and personal life. It also allows you to accept payments through Stripe, Square, Braintree, Authorize.net, and more. The largest package with Acuity also complies with HIPAA laws in case you are working in the medical or health fields with your appointments. Acuity syncs up with other time zones as well, so if you have employees and/or clients in other time zones Acuity clears up the confusion with calculating appointments with them. You can check out Acuity Scheduling at http://AcuityScheduling.com/lmscast to receive an extended free trial offer and to learn more about this awesome, extremely versatile scheduling tool.

Works remotely w/internet connection, timers are off by 1 hr, schedules cannot be updated, only deleted. Amazon Affiliate Product Link: http://amzn.to/28R23T2 The timer outlet comes with a brief instruction manual that doesn't explain all the "tricks" to get it to work correctly. The unit measures 4” tall, 2.5” and will stick out about 1.25” from the wall, just a tad smaller than the rotary timers. At the top is the power button with WiFi status indicator. On the back you have the device's default UID, password, and QR code for setup. To control this socket, you’ll need an iOS or Android mobile device to install the app. I got it up and running on my LG G5 (Android) within a few minutes. The QR code for the app is in the instruction manual and the app is called 'iSmartPlug.' To add the device, open up the app and press the ‘+’ in the top right corner. Choose “Setup Device WiFi Connection then click the 'QR scan' button and scan the barcode on the back of the unit, or type in the Serial Number including the dashes. Next, select your WiFi network and provide the password. Now, plug the timer and wait for the LED to start blinking blue. In the app, click 'Start Configuring WiFi.' When configured successfully, the LED will be a solid blue. Now you can choose 'Add New Device' and select the outlet (if it doesn't show up, click the 'Scan' button). You can name each outlet something descriptive in case you have multiple ones and password protect them.In the outlet configuration menu, the large button lets you turn the plug on or off. The gear in the top left is for setting the current date and time for the unit. The key icon is for changing the password. Timers/schedules can be added by clicking the Clock icon in the top right. You can choose from a countdown timer (one-time), a one-time date/time occurrence, a daily timer, a weekly schedule, or even a monthly schedule based on date of the month. The one flaw that I noticed is that despite having the time set correctly in the settings and choosing my time zone as Eastern Standard Time, the timers were always behind by 1 hour, and 2 hours if daylight savings time was checked. The only way around that, instead of setting all my timers an hour behind, is to set the time zone to the next earliest; so, for example, if you’re in GMT-5, select GMT-4, then you can at least enter the timer schedules normally and they will turn on/off at the correct time. The other thing I didn’t like about the timer is that once it’s set, you cannot edit the schedules. If you want to change a timer/schedule, you’ll have to delete it and add it again with different settings. However, even if your phone is off and the app is no longer running, the socket will remember the schedules and turn on at the times/dates you set. I'm not sure if there is a limit to the number of schedules you can set, but I imagine the timer has a limited amount of memory. The other nice thing about this outlet is that it can be controlled from anywhere that has an internet connection. You do not have to be on the same WiFi network to control it (I was able to control it using my cellular data plan and WiFi turned off). You can also use this as a remote on/off switch, making it easy to control outlets that are hard to get to, like ones behind furniture. The power button on the unit can also be used to switch it on and off and holding it down for 10 seconds resets the unit. I’d like to see an update to the application which fixes the timing issue, but other than that, it works as advertised and you can control the switch from anywhere with an internet connection and set a number of automatic schedules for the outlet. Great for holiday lights and turning on the A/C units before you get home from work. Amazon Affiliate Product Link: http://amzn.to/28R23T2

You know, that feeling that I'm behind time the second I wake up every day. That's the blessing and curse of how the internet works. Yes, we're all busy. Get over it, Jeff. Get over yourself. Indeed. But that's not the point of this post and video. Being busy is not the problem I'm trying to solve. Let's redefine the problem Problem: I don’t like having awkward conversations. Life is good when I invite guests onto our Jumpstart Podcast, and they verbally accept. The part I don't like? When we spend 2 weeks trying to find a time that works for both parties. We're scheduling a podcast episode, not open heart surgery. As I'm trying to find a recording date with guests, telling my schedule sounds something like this: ”I'm free from 8 to 10 in the morning on Wednesday... 2 months from now.” It feels like I’m giving everyone the brush-off. Basically telling the podcast guests that I am too important, and there's no opening at all for the next 60 days. But that's not really the case, I just have to awkwardly explain that I'm going to be on 3 continents and 5 time zones over the next two months. This is the reality of the digital nomad lifestyle. I've been living out of a suitcase since 2015, and I bring my business on the road. I change location a lot, and that means I can't be sure if I'm able to take a phone call or if the internet will work the following Wednesday. Minnesota Nice, a term we assign to people who are passive aggressive about not doing something at all to avoid an awkward conversation, has led to a fair share of missed opportunities. Often, I can't fit someone in until 2 months from now, and at the same time, I'll desperately need someone as a guest for the coming Thursday (which is in 2 days). Surely this can't go on if we want to grow the business. I talked about project planning on day #21 of this 90 day challenge, that getting processes in place is the No. 1 thing we wanted to do in 2018. And we are using Asana to map out the podcast process. But getting a guest scheduled for a recording date/time is still a chore. With my traveling and the time zones differences, it's still hard to tell when I'll be available to do recordings. I looked into many calendar scheduling tools and tested a lot of them. Many of them seemed too lightweight or clunky, and didn't do what I needed it to do. And then I found one that I loved - Acuity Scheduling. It's great, and I want to share with you why I love it so much. Our podcast scheduling process using Acuity Scheduling Acuity Scheduling is the solution to our previously defined problem of trying not to give everyone the brush-off. It started with using Acuity Scheduling for our podcast scheduling process, but the tool is now a vital piece in many areas of the business. I want to show you exactly why we like it by sharing some insights into how Acuity Scheduling works. We'll actually go into the tool, and I'll show you how we use it to improve our podcast process. 1. Multiple calendars (and family calendar) You can add multiple calendars on Acuity Scheduling. Under business settings, I can view my availability based on all the calendars I've added. It works with Google Calendar, iCloud, Outlook Office 365, just to name a few. At the time of this video recording in January, I was still in the US trying to get ahead of the game, batch recording these videos. This episode doesn't go live until now, in mid February. I traveled to Hungary late January, and it was noted on my calendar, so the system will block out dates when I'm not available. So no one could make an appointment when I'm traveling for work or spending the holidays with family. Acuity Scheduling consolidates all my calendars and allows people to book time slots with me according to my availability.
