I realize your video was from 2016 but I just got my Samsung pay. I'm hoping that it's not just a novelty anymore and that it really works. Sorry that you had eat all that junk food to show us how it works but thanks for doing it!
i bought a galaxy note 8 from the Samsung dealership in Bangladesh but my note 8 doesn't have the Samsung pay app in it. can anyone tell me how can I install the app. i tried downloading the apk but after installing it says can't connect to the server. can anyone tell what is wrong? thank you
If it didn't come installed when you first set it up, u might need to factory reset but just back ur data up to samsung account and restore when you reset, it should download the app and it should work
I have a Galaxy s9 + and it won't verify my capitol one card. I have had it used on my Galaxy s8 and now it won't work on my new phone. I have called Samsung pay and capitol one both telling me to call each other. And I have uninstalled and ret the apps. And nothing works. Can someone help me please.
Cool... Do you need anti-virus protection on the phone to be able to do this? It's just most apps that you install on the phone ask for permission to have access to your personal stuff; so i'm just not sure if credit card info is securely protected..
Sorry I'm new to this..
I have plm with my bank to verify big is I m deaf they want me call bank with no relayhow can i get my bank to complete it I got letter from my bank says welcome to Samsung pay n Google pay too but STILL NEED VERIFY. How can u tell me what does it do after I call that number what should I say or push number in while verify please please help me it been year now still stuck there I want my bank card to activate there instead using credit cards
Samsung pay needa to have all cards ready to use with there devices. I have Natwest Barclays and a marbell card and none are compatible with samsung pay. Absolute rubbish. Just go with google pay guys, easier, accepts all cards and its google!
Apple pay require stores to have special hardware to use Apple pay, thats why not every location accepts Apple pay. Samsung pay on the other hand works with any card reader, that might be the reason why its slower. However I find that using Samsung pay is faster than using the chip reader.
Im a note 8 user and using samsung pay today for the 1st time. It didn't go well and I have to take out my credit card for the payment. A little bit frustated though. But I will try again another time.
Samsung Pay uses both NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST). If you want to use Samsung Pay at a NFC enabled terminal, then yes you need NFC on for that to work. But, it's possible to use Samsung Pay over a traditional magnetic swipe terminal where you don't need to have NFC on to use.
Samsung pay does not accept Paypal credit cards or accounts, but android pay does. Crazy! I have not used either, but i am thinking of getting a smart watch in case I forget or lose my purse, phone or wallet. Especially if out of town.
The big difference with this is the magnetic waves that Samsung Pay uses. It's not NFC, which is why the McDonald's transaction didn't go through when he held it up to the Tap to Pay icon. But when he moved it to the swiper, the magnetic waves did a "virtual card swipe." This should work virtually anywhere, and I can't wait to try it out.
Thanks for the video. Nice cross around your neck. I didn't realize that you follow Jesus. God bless you. "...there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Part of the reason you were having difficulty, is because you're laying your phone on the credit card device. Your phone is supposed to be a ¼-½ inch away from the card reader. Also when you were at McDonald's, laying it on that wifi reading mat does not work. You always have to place your phone next to the card reader, the location where you would physically swipe your card.
When you were beginning to use it, you were holding your phone on the credit card reader while using your finger print.... you are supposed to open the app, authenticate with your finger print, then lay the phone on the credit card reader.
Additionally, if you decide to go with an aboveground pool and want to add a deck around it, you should check with your local government to get specifics on the laws in your area pertaining to deck installation.
No matter what you decide, make sure you meet with an installation professional to discuss your options based on space, city regulations and price points.
Above Ground Pool.
Additionally, pool materials in aboveground pools are far cheaper than in-ground and have a wider variety.
Pool Accessary Options.
Types of Pool Water Sanitation.
There are a variety of pool water treatment options beyond the traditional chlorine, although it remains the most popular option.
Chlorine is added to a pool to combat algae or other bacteria that can gather in the water. Chlorinated water relies on a proper pH balance to prevent an overly chemical-smelling pool.
While saline pools, also known as saltwater pools, are not chlorine-free, they consist of a salt-chlorine generator that produces lower levels of chlorine.
Mineral water pools are chlorine-free and use disinfecting minerals to prevent bacteria and algae.
