Will our QT program run on any Computer except the one it's being developed ? Because I have seen a classmate installing QT on a Lab computer to run his QT based Project.

The way I do this in code is to go to the horizontal slider, right click, "go to slot". That brings up a dialog, I select valueChanged, and do this: It automatically creates the method, all you have to do is add "ui->progressBar->setValue(value);" between the braces. This keeps all code for that event in the same place - so if you want to do a lot of things when the value is changed, you do them all here. I don't use the visual way because it's not visible in code. void MainWindow::on_horizontalSlider_valueChanged(int value) { ui->progressBar->setValue(value); }
